One of the city’s most luxurious hotels superbly located in Yurakucho, opposite the Imperial Palace and Hibiya Park, The Peninsula Tokyo offers commanding views of the Japanese capital skyline. The Hotel is within minutes' walk of the shopping capital of Ginza and Shinbashi. What sets the Peninsula Tokyo apart from other international luxury hotels is its focus on creating a modern Japanese ambience, whereas other hotels adopt a standard international décor. The Peninsula Tokyo’s interior and exterior is contemporary, yet echoes Japan’s rich heritage and culture in its design. The Peninsula Tokyo pampers its guests with a spa center and a fitness club with a swimming pool and sun loungers, overlooking the Imperial Palace Gardens. Ryokan-inspired rooms are simple and streamlined, designed with the idea of "techno-ergonomic-user-friendly", so every control and switch is located precisely where it is required so its use is intuitive and effortless. The granite and cherry wood bathrooms with large soaking tubs will make your stay a pleasant relax.

Loved this hotel. Maybe I am extra positive since we were upgraded to a suite at the very top floor with views over Tokyo but our kids' room was also very nice. Fantastic quality breakfast and really super friendly staff. A request we had was met with the reply "At the Peninsula, nothing is impossible" :) Maybe a bit cheesy and surely not 100% true, but still an attitude that you love as a guest. The indoor pool with nice views was also very appreciated and the rooftop bar was great. The concierge had also recommended and booked us at two different restaurants outside and they were the best we visited in Tokyo and Japan. Our only possible critique was perhaps that the breakfast is served in the lobby, which is not really a relaxing environment. One morning they moved the breakfast to the rooftop bar and that was much nicer. But that is a very minor comment comparing with all that was to love about this place. We are experienced luxury travellers and thus a little picky, but this hotel is a gem. We also stayed at Mandarin Oriental in Tokyo and while very nice, we thought the Peninsula was a better choice in all ways.

We booked The Peninsula hoping to get a top experience … we got there and while it’s very good located, the building is great , rooms , bathrooms and closet sizes excellent, the whole property is decadent … old, outdated, restaurants stayed in the 90’s and the hotel needs an urgent renovation! What a dissapoinent!

Amazing stay at the Peninsula! Welcoming, helpful and high end! The rooms are spacious enough for 4 and the amenities keep you everything need at the hotel, but a hop away from subway entrances, 7-elevens and the Ginza area! A great option for your Tokyo stay - whether for business or pleasure. Breakfast is great! Water provided in room. Big closet area for your luggage. Nice views of Tokyo skyline. All great! Highly recommended.

What a beautiful experience we had these past 5 days at The Peninsula, Tokyo…most lovely staff working there from ReceptionDesk to Concierge Desk, to Breakfast Staff , Doormen/women…Reina at the Cantonese Restaurant….everything deluxe! Pool Service & Spa Desk also so gracious & helpful! That pool & jacuzzi is “out of this world”! And the sauna & steam rooms such a treat! We loved our room & we hated to leave! Perfect location too! The Room Service also top notch.., we had the Zen Meal & it was amazing served by a doting Man…and the room cleaners made up our room perfectly! The Hotel Breakfast we looked forward to every morning, especially the Energy Booster drink & the Servers were perfection! We say Arigato with all our hearts💞💞 to the divine The Peninsula Hotel!

As I have travelled the world and stayed in exquisite hotels I feel the Peninsula Tokyo surpasses as especially all the Peninsula globally. From check in to check out was wonderful, the staff so happy to help and very professional. Room service, housekeeping, concierge and Valet service out performed all other hotels. It would not be fair to mention all the people receiving and organizing our taxi and luggage I want to thank the management and all the staff thank you.
