From the first step inside the lobby to the last step onto the sidewalk, it was glorious. The rooms are decked out and have many amenities available in the bathroom. The beds are comfortable. We were on the Club floor and it was BEYOND! The best club we’ve ever been in for service, food, beverages, etc. I can’t say enough nice things about the staff, accommodations, beauty, accessibility, etc. There is also a wonderful mall attached to the hotel. Staying in Tokyo doesn’t get any easier than the Ritz-Carlton.

AMAZING property. I guess I king of understand the comments saying that the property is “dated”…but so is Versailles and Versailles is still beautiful, just like the Ritz Carlton Tokyo. Timeless luxury in a prime location in Roppongi, in one of the tallest buildings in Tokyo. I am fortunate enough to have titanium status and we were upgraded to a corner suite on the 47th floor. Keep in mind, the lobby is on the 45th floor, so you’re going to have an incredible view of Tokyo regardless of the room location. The location of the hotel is ideal, with easy access to the subway, allowing you to navigate the city quickly and with ease. Use Google Maps for the subway directions and it makes the navigation process a breeze. The staff here is the most professional and courteous Ritz Carlton staff I have ever experienced. The bar is already quite high when staying at a Ritz, and the team here understood the assignment. Next time I am in Tokyo, I will absolutely stay here.

Stayed at the Tokyo Ritz Carlton and was blown away by their service and their views. Located on the upper floors of the Roppongi Midtown office tower, the hotel provides a majestic city skyline view of Tokyo for all rooms. The rooms were above average for Tokyo standards and the breakfast provided were truly amazing. The hotel is linked to the Midtown complex and directly to the Subway station. All in all a very comfortable and memorable stay.

The location is absolutely ideal. You were minutes away from a beautiful park and above a very high-end shopping mall and subway station. The staff is delightful. The general manager is in the lobby before 7 AM and also again late in the afternoon greeting guests. We ate in the sushi restaurant and our sushi chef Kojima was exceptional and skill and conversation. The sushi was the best we’ve ever enjoyed. The views from the sushi bar, lobby and Club Lounge are breathtaking. We highly recommend upgrading to the Club Level. They have 5 all inclusive offerings each day from breakfast to heavy dinner and the bar is well stocked with a wide range of top quality wines, beers and liquors.

It seems that taxi and private transfers don't really know exactly where this hotel is and so we got dropped off at the adjacent mall. So if you stay here, insist to be dropped off at the porte cochere which is further beyond the mall. Once you get to the lobby on the 45th floor, you are ensconced in the lap of luxury. The front desk staff is courteous and helpful although they could service at a slightly faster clip. The rooms are one of the most spacious in Tokyo. For the suites, apparently there is no separation (that is a door) between the living area and the bedroom. For the corner suite we had, you have to go through a closet, the bathroom and then the bedroom before getting into the living room. But once you got there, the view was outstanding. On most days, we say Mount Fuji afar and Tokyo light up before us. The breakfast was an overrun affair with us having to wait on most days before being seated and placed in the furthermost back room. The service was not attentive as you would expect from a Ritz Carlton and they often got our orders wrong or omitted items. But if you look past all of that, you have a terrific view of Haneda airport and the surroundings of Tokyo. Finally, they have a lovely indoor pool and some plunge pools inside the spa locker rooms. The pool attendants are fastidious about where you can sit and you have to wear a cap to enter the pool. But it is so nice to have a pool to while away in and further hot and cold pools to relax in. All this with an amazing view. What's there not to like?
