The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo

I have just checked into The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo and I’m so happy I chose this hotel for my 4 night stay. This is a very last-minute trip. I was supposed to be going to Dubai on my way home, but my flight from Singapore was cancelled, so I decided to visit Japan as a detour. First of all, the staff. Everyone has been incredibly friendly and kind. The ladies at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful. Keep in mind they are speaking English with me and it’s not their first language, yet they still go out of their way to help in any way they can. It’s International Women’s Day today, and I was given some flowers. Such a thoughtful and kind gesture. The room is large and spacious, and traditional in style. In terms of toiletries, they’ve thought of everything. The shower has great temperature and pressure. I can’t wait to try breakfast over the next few mornings—I already have a feeling it’s going to be great. The complimentary snack box in the room was delicious… I’ve already finished it. I only wish there were more! All in all, this is the perfect hotel and it truly lives up to The Ritz-Carlton brand.

The food offerings in the lounge were excellent throughout our stay — beautifully presented, varied, and consistently delicious. Every aspect of the experience felt thoughtful and refined. I cannot say enough about how exceptional everything was. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

This hotel was the last place we stayed on vacation, and what a perfect way to end our trip in such an excellent way! Nadya's customer service and communication skills were superb- she was the perfect first impression for us arriving at The Ritz Carlton Tokyo. Check in was a breeze, breakfast was excellent and the servers were all very kind and attentive, and the staff outside were very friendly to ask us if we needed a taxi cab anywhere.

First time in Tokyo and my wife and I stayed for a week in a premier executive suite. I looked at a few other hotels in Tokyo that I considered staying at but after staying at the Ritz-Carlton, I’m elated with our decision. The rooms are extremely clean, well laid out, and beautiful as advertised. The view from our 52nd floor sweet was spectacular. The hotel in conveniently situated central to almost all the areas we wanted to visit. Access to the attached mall and many nearby restaurants was a plus. I really strained my brain to come up with one shortcoming on this visit and I could not. The staff was friendly and amazingly quick and thorough on every request we had. We enjoyed many conversations with team members and were welcomed pleasantly by each and every one. In a word, our stay was PHENOMENAL! Toine and Toshi will get the inside joke. We’re looking forward to bringing our whole family back for our next visit!
