Shangri-La Tokyo

From the moment I arrived at the Shangri-La Tokyo, I knew this stay was going to be something special—but it still managed to exceed every expectation. The location is unbeatable, directly connected to Tokyo Station, which made getting around the city effortless, and within walking distance of the Imperial Palace Gardens. Despite being in such a central hub, the hotel feels like a calm sanctuary above the energy of Tokyo. The views from the room were absolutely breathtaking—watching the city skyline, especially at night, was unforgettable. The room itself was spacious by Tokyo standards, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed with a perfect balance of modern luxury and subtle Japanese touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and every detail—from the amenities to the lighting—felt thoughtfully curated. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the service. Every staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making my stay exceptional. Check-in was seamless, and the team went above and beyond with personalized touches that made me feel truly valued as a guest. The dining experience was equally impressive. Breakfast offered a fantastic selection of both Western and Japanese options, all of the highest quality. It was the perfect way to start each day. Overall, the Shangri-La Tokyo delivers a flawless blend of luxury, comfort, and world-class hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional experience in Tokyo.

I came to Shangri-La Tokyo for a solo birthday trip to enjoy Tokyo for five days. From start to finish, my stay was wonderful. The room is huge, particularly compared to Tokyo standards, and very well equipped. I was especially surprised to see the outlets could accommodate three pronged plugs. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was luxurious. All amenities you could think of were provided for. Breakfast was included in my stay and was delicious. The staff at Piacere were incredibly hospitable, nothing was too large an ask. I communicated with the concierge ahead of time to handle dinner reservations and they were very communicative. The meet and greet service is so helpful; I would've been lost for ages in Tokyo Station without their staff guiding me. It was a joy to return to my room every night, and honestly quite hard to leave in the morning! I'll definitely make Shangri-La Tokyo my go-to hotel whenever I'm in town.

We have traveled quite a bit and this hotel provided the best customer service we’ve ever experienced! It’s a beautiful hotel and is conveniently located across the street from Tokyo station. Our room was spacious with a huge bed, views of Tokyo (we were on the 35th floor), a very nice bathroom, and the daily breakfast was incredible! The complimentary meet-and-greet provided to us upon arrival by limousine bus from airport and then helping us to find our train when departing Tokyo station was so incredibly helpful. You will not regret this stay,

Great location and superb hospitality from check-in to room stay. Concierge was really helpful with directions and with your luggages. Huge shoutout to Riku at front desk for helping with super quick check-in and checkout. The room was clean, super spacious and has great views. Most importantly the location is superb and you have great connectivity to wherever you want to go.

Located next to the Tokyo Station, the hotel has spacious guest-room and warm hospitality. I’d much recommend the breakfast at the Piacere, which has a variety of choices from local delights to other Asian flavours.
