The Strings by InterContinental Tokyo earns consistent accolades as Japan’s top hotel, and from a room on one of its top floors, it’s easy to survey the competition. Tokyo’s skyline envelops the hotel, adding a glamorous backdrop to interiors designed with simplicity and traditional Japanese aesthetics. Meals under the glass bridge in the atrium are an elegant affair, but The Strings’s central location means delectable local eats are close at hand. Try scouting a cozy izakaya near the Tsukiji Fish Market – it’s the largest seafood market in the world, and there are scores of ultra-fresh sushi joints nearby.

I recently stayed at The Strings by InterContinental Tokyo, whichi has a great location, just 20-minute drive from Haneda Airport and next to Shinagawa Station, making it very convenient for getting around. Hotel's service is excellent. The front desk staff kindly led me to the executive lounge for afternoon tea while check-in, and they also proactively helped me store my luggage when I checked out. Although I only stayed for one night, the warmth and hospitality shown by staff left a very good impression on me. I'll absolutely be back on my next trip to Tokyo!

I wanted my wife and mother have a good holiday so I let them stay your hotel at 30th Dec. They were so much pleased with the breakfast buffet. Thank yo for your professional services.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was beautiful! Amazing staff and hotel facilities. The room was always cleaned and the front desk was very responsive. Check in and check out was a breeze! We even got a room credit and were able to get room service free of charge. Would happily stay here again!

We returned for 2 nights in December Our stay was perfect The beds are so comfortable as are the pillows All staff members were friendly but professional All our needs and requests were met The breakfast is the best in Japan with so much choice and well cooked and presented We would not consider staying anywhere else in Tokyo

Very gracious employees and huge beds! I do appreciate the welcome drink chit! My only tiny complaint, silly as it is; the colors of the pillows on the room sofas don't look good to me. I see how they pick up the carpet colors but not a choice I would have made. I still am happy to be a patron!
