We had a great experience with The Strings. The staff were very friendly and courteous. They took the opportunity to wish my wife a "Happy Birthday" and present her with a very special gift. We enjoyed our stay very much

Convenient location, good quality, responsive staff, rooms too hot
The hotel is of the standard one would expect and the staff were superb in responding tonour requests. The great disappointment for us was that we entered thr room and were confronted by a stifling 23.5 C temperturenwe were informed thst in October the building heating system was activated. By turning the thermostat down to 18 C the temperature declined to 22C — still too warm for a comfortable sleep. We were provided with two fans that ensbled us to sleep. It is surprising that energy is wasting hesting buildings to the point of feeling uncomfortable.

Front desk staff amazing
I was traveling alone and quite overwhelmed with the train system. The front desk staff went above and beyond with directions on the train station. The you d lady at the front desk took the time to listen to my concerns. She immediately grabbed a map, and encouraged me to go. She even told me what platform I needed to be on, and exactly what stop to get off on. She circled all the stops. Then even took the time to give me very detailed directions on how to get back. She made sure I understood. Then asked do you have any more questuons? She was very helpful! The howl itself is beautiful! It's clean, quiet and there is a ton of things close by. Convient location. I enjoyed my stay here.
