This resort is a true luxury oasis in the middle of the desert. We used this location as a hub for discovering southwest Tunisia and stayed two nights and really regretted not staying more to enjoy the hospitality, facilities & uniqueness of this resort. We had the Sahara view room and witnessed sunrise from our room over the desert. The rooms was very spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was also a terrace with seating and a fireplace. Since we are vegetarians, we had one evening dinner in the Asian Makong restaurant and one evening dinner in their other restaurant offering a buffet. Both chef Sandeep & Chef Azza really looked after us here cooking us Indian vegetarian delights. Both Ahmed's, Amina, & Mowad in the resort were very courteous and very entertaining as well. Service was so transparent but when we needed something they were just there. We never got to use their spa but looking at the menu we really regretted not staying more. The pool was very welcome as the temperature was very high when we visited. For anyone interested, they have tennis courts available on site. The hotel offers many tours and even a private romantic Arabian night dinner in the desert or a group Berber night in the desert. We however had our own private tour guide. Thank you to all the staff, they really know how to make you feel welcome.

We had a wonderful time here… great service thanks to manager Nizar Saidi and enjoyed relaxing Hammam and treatments at the SPA (specially thanks to Mrs Maktoum) … At this gate of the desert we found everyone very friendly and welcoming … nice atmosphere, good food (thank you Ahmed) and luxurious accommodation!

It was a great experience, staff was extremely supportive, accommodating and courteous yet never pushy. Ahmed the driver, Mohamed from the Bar, who even speaks fluently German, the very nice guy from the breakfast shift, the poolbar waiter and the tennis guy - all of them, even I can’t remember all their names were great! Thanks for an unforgettable stay, including a warm farewell from everybody in the reception! Thank you!
