Trump Turnberry delivered a truly luxurious and memorable stay, with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel special from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The valet team in particular were outstanding — professional, attentive, and genuinely going above and beyond by even placing bottled water in our car ready for our onward journey, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our room was beautiful, with stunning views that really showcased the incredible setting of the resort. The complimentary brownie was a lovely extra and absolutely delicious. The only small downside was that the shower pressure was a little lower than expected, but this was minor in the grand scheme of an otherwise fantastic room. The views throughout the resort are simply breathtaking, and one of the standout experiences was the walk to the lighthouse. It’s absolutely worth doing, though the shuttle service is a great option if preferred. Watching the sunset with the bagpiper playing was an unforgettable touch and really added to the magic of the stay. Despite there being a wedding on during our visit, it had no negative impact on our experience whatsoever, which speaks volumes about how well the resort is run. Dining was another real highlight. The restaurant staff were incredibly accommodating, with nothing ever seeming like too much trouble. Service felt polished yet relaxed, and the food was excellent throughout. We particularly loved the ravioli, prawn and lobster cocktail, and the beef Wellington — all were beautifully prepared and thoroughly enjoyable. Breakfast was outstanding overall. There were a couple of small hiccups — a few missing items from the full English and poached eggs that initially arrived overcooked — but these were rectified immediately without fuss, which really demonstrated the high standard of service. The spa was also absolutely beautiful, and the massages were excellent — a wonderfully relaxing addition to the stay. Overall, Trump Turnberry combines spectacular scenery with genuinely exceptional service and thoughtful luxury touches. From the stunning coastal views to the attentive staff, it felt like a truly special experience, and we would absolutely return.

Even to Turnberry many times over the years. We went for an overnight visit for my husbands birthday. Poor response at check in-staff seemed uninterested-we felt really disappointed at our reception. The service in the bar for drinks was slow and less than stellar. The food in the dining room was lovely as was breakfast. We found Ainsley to be very good in the dining room she was great and very bright and personable she is a credit to the hotel. Breakfast service was questionable one of the waiters tried to lift my plate whilst I was still eating. I thing Turnberry very much needs to improve training as it is on the whole not up to scratch

We visited 4th April, 2 families totaling 4 adults and 3 children aged 11-15. The hotel is absolutely stunning and the views are amazing even on a miserable day. We sat down but no one approached so we found a member of staff and asked if we were ok to have some drinks in the bar. The waitress came over to take our order but we hadn’t seen a menu so we asked for a few minutes. The kids were hungry so we asked to see the food menu and then ordered 2 kid's meals. It went downhill from there. The kids starters came out followed swiftly by the mains so they were literally served both at the same time. One of the mains was incorrect so we asked for the right meal and it was over an hour later after asking twice that it was finally brought to the table. The whole time all of the dirty plates remained in front of us. After another lengthy wait we had to ask for the kid's desserts, the waitresses asked what they wanted despite having taken their dessert order at the same time as the starter and main. It looked like we were in for the long haul I ordered a further glass of wine which took over 20 minutes and I had 2 ask 3 times. We enjoyed our visit but it wasn’t busy and the service was awful, there are some serious staff training issues.

Went for afternoon tea - disappointed. Although pre-booked & confirmed staff seemed surprised to see us. Shown to a tiny table which was so small we had to put condiments/used plates etc on floor. Reception staff had a problem taking/ retrieving coats. Tea came without scones - had to ask for them. Managers floated about. £50 per person. Had much better service in lesser star hotels. Hotel and views lovely. Food fresh.

It's a 5 star location but details let it down. Golf courses are excellent. Room was very good. Breakfast was a disappointment. Some might find the food and drink prices poor value for money (when the 10% service charge is aways included)
