Be prepared to get “walked”

We have had a reservation for several months at this hotel for a family celebration. When we arrived tonight, we were told there was no room for us and we were sent several miles away to the Westin dump. We were told they had to honor reservations for a group and since the hotel was oversold we were sent to a much lesser and inconvenient hotel. They did offer us a free ride in an Uber for compensation. My family had checked in earlier and they all have accommodations. This is absolutely inexcusable and not at all what I would expect from a Ritz Carlton. Needless to say our whole trip is ruined and I am absolutely livid.

Excellent One Night Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Excellent one night stay after a visit to American Girl. Thank you to the staff for making my daughter's 5th birthday so special and memorable! From check-in to dinner at Entyse to very special surprises from the staff (thank you to Juvy the housekeeping manager) we had a great time. The pool was lovely as well.

Not a good hotel for your birthday. 😭

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

This Ritz Carlton is really nice, it has 24 floors and on top of that there are double windows to block out the noise. They had an excellent gym with tons of equipment and weights! The food was really good the kids meals had great prices for my son! The only con is that it was by birthday and they did nothing. Ritz Carltons never really do anything for my birthday they were incredibly stingy and we got some benefits like a $100 credit and they tried to hide it from us. I would stay here again but please don't be so stingy.

Nice Hotel but Staff Made the Difference

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

Check in - Line was too long, needed more staff, but once we were at the counter person who checked us in was very professional and efficient. Recognized my Bonvoy Status and offered Breakfast. Hotel - nicely appointed, complementary chocolates and sparkling wine in lobby. Nice sitting area that we used while waiting for local guests to arrive. Room - beds were very nice, view was fantastic, room was comfortable and very relaxing. Spa - used hot tub and pool area, nice and as expected for Ritz Parking - Self park and valet. Used self park as the elevator to lobby was right next to where I parked making things very convenient. Self park rate was reasonable, did not have any bags to drag around. Location - Hotel is connected to a mall, which offered many different restaurants, in addition to hotel. Breakfast - Was at or above expectations, but was very aggressively priced. Overall a great stay and would stay again if in the area. This was a last minute overnight and was happy with experience.

Decent but dated Ritz

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

Decent but dated East Coast Ritz. Rooms could use a refresh. Mattress was lumpy and pillows cotton bud thin. Staff weren’t quite up to brand standard. Lovely hotel bar/restaurant with great service and old world fit out. Hotel Attached to a high end mall.
