Taj Lake Palace

It was a one of a kind experience to be staying at Taj Lake Palace Udaipur, especially when we were celebrating 12 years of marriage. Surrounded by calm waters of Pichola, with birds perched all around and the view of the majestic Fateh Palace. The mornings are filled with the sound of flute at the Sajjan Terrace, and the evenings with the traditional programs of music and dance and smiles of the staff thoughout the day. We were made comfortable right from the point of arrival and welcomed with shower of rose petals, music and fanfare. The food is amazing, as usual for any Taj property and so is the upkeep. The hotel has done justice to the Palace by keeping the sanctity of the place as it is. Every wall , hallway had some story to offer through various pictures, beautiful paintings. The room "Machla Magra" was palatial, comfortable, quiet and needless to say Royal giving us a view of the Temple, Palace, Lake and the mountains, in all terms it was an amazing upgrade thanks to Ms. Asra Fatima, Asst. Manager at Front desk. At the same time, Ms Jasbinder Kaur , Bhagwan ji, Kunal ensured we had a grand and smooth welcome, Chef Manish and Krish Bagwe ensured our culinary preferences are fulfilled. And last bu not the least, Mr. HArsh Tripathi ensured we had a smooth check out too.

Our trip at Taj Lake palace was amazing. Both the lunch and the dinner at Jharokha and Neelkamal were outstanding. Special mentions to Chef Anop Singh, Vijay Chouhan and Pradeep for their noteworthy hospitality.

We were really looking forward to staying at Lake Palace and ticking it of. Let me put the good and not so good. Start was inauspicious .Reservations called a day earlier and asked what time I would like to check in. We said 11 am. They said ok. Pick up from Fateh Palace since we stayed there. Next morning the Hotel front of us time and had no clue about this and kept saying check in is 2pm.We told them we did not ask for an early check in you asked we told you. We decided only to then go at 2 pm. We were met they apologized upgraded us to the Palace room. Room was awesome the lake views are awesome. Can you believe a Palace room without carpets?? I do not know which Royal ever lived in a room without Rugs?? Your feed hit the cold floor as the room has to be cold with the heat and humidity outside. The good. Property is awesome. The tour is very nice. The food is awesome but over priced.Don't have the Chinese its about ok. Other food and breakfast is nice. Over all a Fantastic trip with a few glitches But seriously put Rugs in the room

Excellent service. Went for my 60th birthday dinner with my husband. Amazing experience. Delicious food. Very attentive service. Made my birthday very special. Thank you so much chef Anup and Mansinghji.
