Taj Lake Palace

My wife and I recently spent three unforgettable nights at the Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur. Wow! What a magical place and staff! Arriving by boat across the still waters of Lake Pichola, we were welcomed like royalty returning to our own palace. From the warm welcome and tour of the property, to the surprise cake celebrating my recent retirement, to the thoughtful late checkout on our final day - every detail was attended to with care. Our wellbeing was overseen throughout our stay by the gracious Kunal, and we were cared for by an extraordinary team including Suhana, Amit, Chef Babu, Soumil, Shruti, and so many others at reception, in the dining room, and in housekeeping. We have never experienced a hotel more magical, intimate, or attentive than the Taj Lake Palace. It now feels like our home away from home in India.

It was very good.. had a super stay.. and Ovish was very very good.. highly recommend.. Wishing to visit soon. Bhagwat, govind ji they all were very nice. The food was yummy.

Amazing food curated by Chef Babu Singh , every dish reflects excellent taste, thoughtful choices, and flawless preparation. The warmth and hospitality of the staff make every experience truly special. Their care and attention always make us feel like we are at a home away from home.

We enjoyed a private dining by chef Babu Singh Bhati and waiter Amit and it exceeded our expectations. Amit was very kind and attentive and the chef made sure we were well looked after. The food was perfect and the ambiance was unmatched.

The atmosphere at the restaurant is magical. Every detail is carefuly planned. Food was delicious, and not so spicy so we could enjoy it! Chef Babu executed every dish to perfection, and also made recommendations on deserts, which we also loved. Concierge Naman Sharma is fabulous, he helped us plan everything and exceeded our expectations. Absolutely one of the best hotels I have ever been to.
