Rancho Pacifico

You can tell this place was designed for relaxation and pampering. The owner, manager, and staff did an amazing job of taking care of everyone. This location is 100/10. I attended a retreat here and it was nothing short of amazing. The massage I had was hands down the best I’ve ever had.

Fantastische plek! Hele mooie kamers en vriendelijk personeel. Heel schoon en het eten is echt van hoge kwaliteit. Je krijgt echt het gevoel dat iedereen er alles aan wilt doen om ervoor te zorgen dat je het fijn hebt. Wel een goede 4x4 meenemen, want de weg ernaartoe is ook een experience

We’ve been going to Rancho Pacifico since it first opened nearly 20 years ago. It’s always been head and shoulders, in our minds, above anywhere else we’ve stayed in Costa Rica. The new owners, however, seem to have taken it to another level in terms of amenities, service, and style. We can’t wait to go back!

We loved it. The staff was so attentive and every staff member we interacted with knew our names. The food and ambience and style was fabulous. The owner was often attending to the needs of the residents and was so nice to chat with and made sure everything went swimmingly on all fronts. Our suite, (Tamandua) was just fabulous with beautiful views and so well appointed and spacious. Totally recommend staying there. We shall be back!

We stayed at Rancho Pacifico for 4 days to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. This was our first experience at a small boutique hotel and it exceeded our expectations! Sharon and Arbid closely communicated with us well before our trip to make sure everything was set before we arrived. The staff, especially Jason and Andrey, were so attentive. Vianney was an amazing bartender. Every single meal we had was delicious and beautifully presented. The owners, Greg and Jennie, personally introduced themselves, and made us feel so welcome. We had booked our own tours separately. We did a Corcovado day trip through Bahia Adventures that left right from Uvita, saw amazing wildlife and scenery, and also waterfall rappelling through Costa Canyon. In both cases, the staff at Rancho anticipated our needs and pre-ordered breakfast and lunch so we would still be fed despite missing their set breakfast and lunch times. This extra step was incredibly considerate and very much appreciated. The drive up the mountain is no joke. A 4x4 is a must, but the view and hospitality is so worth it once you're at the top. We would absolutely come back to Rancho and will be recommending it to our friends and family.
