Hospes Palau de la Mar

My family and I recently enjoyed a second stay at this fantastic hotel. Located in a quiet area, the hotel provides a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. The rooms are of a high standard and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff truly made my experience special. They were warm and welcoming, going out of their way to accommodate our requests. Their knowledge of the area was impressive, and they provided us with useful information as well as making restaurant bookings for us. The hotel's restaurant (Ampar), is a nice setting for evening meals. The dishes were of a high standard, and I highly recommend trying the Oxtail croquettes and the Valencian Paella both were delicious! As a tourist, I found the location to be ideal. With Carrer Colon for shopping, Turia Gardens, and local high-end restaurants all within a few minutes' walk, it couldn't be more convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forwards to my next stay.

Very “meh” hotel. I have stayed at 4 other Hospes and this one falls far short. Building is unremarkable, rooms tired (portion of bathroom ceiling was cracked). Staff pleasant but junior staff were inexperienced (saw a couple of more senior staff looking frustrated with them). Hotel staff often looked away as you passed rather than make you feel welcome (reception staff a notable exception). Breakfast was fine but fairly ordinary compared to Hospes in (say) Mallorca. Overall wouldn’t stay again . price too high for quality and dilutes the brand.

Pretty hotel in close walking distance to the colon market, food market (which is amazing), and the old city. The marina is 15 minutes away by taxi. Staff were very friendly and the rooms spacious. My only comment is the shower… it’s a little treacherous if you have mobility issues (at least our room had a very deep tub to climb out of).

I. Ant count the amount of times I have visited this boutique hotel in my favourite city València! Hospitality is always on point, friendly and helpful staff even down to the cleaners. I’ve stayed here with friends and family, honeymoon, anniversaries and birthdays and every time I visit I am never disappointed. The hotel is currently undergoing some renovations and even though this was happening it was still business as usual with extra care for guests. The renovations look nice and our room was very comfortable. I look forward to seeing what the outside area and bar looks like when I return next year. Big thanks to Fran who shined the most during our stay. Very kind and caring and the front of house staff. I’m sad to leave but I will be returning next year. Gracias 🙏🏽

Very nice boutique hotel. Within proximity to city centre. Staff were very friendly. The morning breakfast is an extra treat. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Valencia. The rooms come with fantastic amenities.
