Hospes Palau de la Mar

Our first trip to València and we were amazed by this beautiful city. The Hospes Palau de la Mar was the icing on the cake. Firstly the staff were charming and helpful, always with a greeting day & night, this is a small detail that makes all the difference. The building is an oasis and the design charming, our room was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom amazing. The hotel is impeccably clean and full of light. The location was perfect, a gentle 10 minute stroll to the old town and fabulous location for shopping & dining out The breakfast is superb & worth paying for. We will hopefully return, thank you everyone for a fabulous stay.

Modern hotel with spacious, super comfortable rooms. The concierge won us over entirely. He could not have been more helpful or appreciative of our needs. He had an excellent knowledge of places to go, the best ways to get there, and just really made us feel at home. Our stay was, unfortunately, brief; just one night. We will definitely look to stay here if we are back in Valencia.

We were a group of 4 girlfriends staying for 2 nights. The hotel is conveniently situated by the shopping district and just a 5 minute walk from either the Colon or Alameda metro stations and a quick 20 minute, €5 ride from the airport. Check in was quick and easy. They stored our bags because at 12 noon the rooms weren’t yet ready. No problem, a quick change and a welcome glass of cava in the courtyard before we set off into town. The old town was a pleasant 15 minute walk from the hotel. Rooms were very comfortable. However, my only issue was the room 307 toilet situation! The toilet was located in what I can only describe as a small cupboard away from the bathroom. Our friends next door had a more traditional set up of toilet within the bathroom! Nevertheless, I will definitely return with my husband in the new year. A lovely stay in a lovely city. I also want to thank the young man on reception, I think his name was Carlos, for his recommendation that we visit Atenea Sky bar. We loved our sunset drinks there. Thank you!

My family and I recently enjoyed a second stay at this fantastic hotel. Located in a quiet area, the hotel provides a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. The rooms are of a high standard and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff truly made my experience special. They were warm and welcoming, going out of their way to accommodate our requests. Their knowledge of the area was impressive, and they provided us with useful information as well as making restaurant bookings for us. The hotel's restaurant (Ampar), is a nice setting for evening meals. The dishes were of a high standard, and I highly recommend trying the Oxtail croquettes and the Valencian Paella both were delicious! As a tourist, I found the location to be ideal. With Carrer Colon for shopping, Turia Gardens, and local high-end restaurants all within a few minutes' walk, it couldn't be more convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forwards to my next stay.
