Hospes Palau de la Mar

From the moment we arrived, the friendly and professional welcome set the tone for a wonderful stay. The location is convenient, both to visit the old city and the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences. The entrance is elegant and full of light, and our room was equally bright, clean, with two windows and a spacious bathroom featuring a double sink and a separate toilet with bidet. The room was well equipped: large TV, all amenities, complimentary tea and coffee, bathrobes, slippers, and high-quality toiletries. I also used the spa, which was excellent, with a beautiful pool, jacuzzi, Turkish bath, and sauna. The massage I had was professional and very satisfying. We tried room service, as well—fast, efficient, and good quality. Throughout our stay, the staff were consistently helpful and professional. The final and much-appreciated touch: this is a genuinely dog-friendly hotel. We found a dog bed and a box of treats waiting for our puppy. A detail that says a lot. A refined, comfortable hotel and a truly excellent experience. Five stars, well deserved.

Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. It was easy to walk to old town. Christmastime is beautiful in Valencia!

This is a fantastic hotel, made so by all staff who, as one, go out of their way to provide good service. They are all very efficient and friendly. Everything in the hotel runs smoothly and works well, without doubt due to the combined efforts of the people who work there. The location is good, though access requires a little effort. The old city isn't far away and is a straightforward walk. Buses are very regular and stops are very close. The metro is a little further, but, again, walkable. So access to other parts of the city, such as the arts and sciences centre or the beaches and marina, are easy. The Turia Gardens are on the doorstep. What a fantastic resource they are by the way. Well done Valencians for insisting on these being a green heart for all ages rather than having the old river bed turned into a polluting highway. If I go back to Valencia I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We are great fans of the Hospes chain having stayed in Granada, Cordoba and Seville. This might be the best of the lot! Young enthusiastic team-everybody was so friendly. Miguel, Juanma and Mathilde were great on Reception-lots of useful tips on where to eat and all booked for us. We noted the kindness extended to the intern, Jasmjne by the more experienced staff-typical of the atmosphere. Breakfast was a treat. Lovely attitudes by all staff throughout our stay-would go back in an instant

Our first trip to València and we were amazed by this beautiful city. The Hospes Palau de la Mar was the icing on the cake. Firstly the staff were charming and helpful, always with a greeting day & night, this is a small detail that makes all the difference. The building is an oasis and the design charming, our room was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom amazing. The hotel is impeccably clean and full of light. The location was perfect, a gentle 10 minute stroll to the old town and fabulous location for shopping & dining out The breakfast is superb & worth paying for. We will hopefully return, thank you everyone for a fabulous stay.
