Lovely hotel. Sunny lobby with great views. Breakfast buffet even included Eggs Benedict. And I got lots of friendly helpful advice from the staff, especially Brett and Iker, who are stationed at the hotel entrance. Highly recommended!!

We’ve stayed for business many times, but it was the first time I tried their room service for a ‘working in the room all day’ lunch. They had a gluten free battered and deep fried cod- a rare, rare treat for a gluten free person. It was delicious. The tartar sauce could have done with a little lemon, and there was one, so that’s where I applied it. Very enjoyable lunch!

We were staying here for a birthday and then leaving on a cruise from the Vancouver port the next day. The location cannot be beat for sure. However you are paying for that, and that alone. The service and hotel itself are not justified for the prices. The hotel at best would be in the same class as a Best Western Plus category. The cleanliness and services offered at the hotel are on par with others. We found the front desk staff over stressed, mildly rude and uptight. Yes, cruise ships were in port and they were busy, however customer service should be #1. The cleaning staff in the hallways were happy and helpful...no complaints there. Breakfast is overrated for the food you get and the buffet could have been anywhere. Nothing special. The lounge staff were happy and cheerful, however they should have shades on the windows as it was very hot in the lounge area anywhere near the windows.

Iken brought up my luggage and gave me a tour of the room, making sure I knew where the safe, coffee, wine glasses and even where the umbrella (!) were all located. I appreciated the attention to detail. Thanks Iken! Good karma is coming your way!

Excellent location in downtown to leave on a cruise ship and/or take an excursion by boat or plane. The hotel is beautiful inside and the rooms are spacious and upgraded with very nice walk-in showers and beautiful views. The club level deluxe rooms offer the opportunity for you to enjoy delicious breakfast, snacks, and desserts each day with excellent views of the bay. Highly recommended for your visit. The hotel provides great service for your luggage directly on to the cruise ships from your rooms which is very convenient. Convenient location for most tour excursions leaving right in front of the hotel. The staff are very friendly and professional with excellent attention to your needs. We must highlight the exceptional service provided by Jupp Hamann, the Club Level Manager, for his superb professionalism and attention to detail. We had a small hiccup with the check-in process which could have been disastrous but Mr Hamann went above and beyond to research the problem and uncover the reason as well as provide a resolution for the inconvenience that was unexpected but highly appreciated. The hotel is extremely fortunate to have such an exceptional person on their management team. He completely turned our situation around and made it a very positive experience. In summary, the hotel is very beautiful and conveniently located. Highly recommended for your travel to downtown Vancouver.
