This was our 5th time at the resort We come back because of the people The beach and pool are amazing and the grounds are well kept Granted there are shortages but we had plenty of food to eat We had an amazing 4 course diner for returning guests The rooms are abit outdated but very clean Judith at the front desk is one amazing person who will help with any issues Laura , Yudith, Yaciel, Tony , Pepe , Vivian , Julie are a big part of our family The maintaince , gardeners , entertainment staff , staff in all restaurants and buffet , front desk etc etc are all lovely people I highly recommend that you take the time to get to know staff as they will become your friends for life Can’t wait to return 💕💕

Be friendly with the staff and they make sure you will be feeling yourself at home! Gorgeous beach and ocean! Plenty of food, if you want experience gourmet mills, go to Las Vegas ... don't forget this country is experiencing deficit , and they are doing everything possible to make sure we eat healthy and have various foods there. We come there for atmosphere, ocean, white sands and gorgeous smiles of the staff. Be open minded and remember , that you are paying only fraction of what you would be paying if taking vacation anywhere else I Caribbean. Once again, if you looking forward to 5 star gourmet meals, go to Hawaii and spend 3-4 times more. Can't wait to go Alameda again in October! ❤️❤️❤️

We absolutely love this resort! We went for a second time and we cannot say enough good things about it. The weather was amazing,the beach and pool were amazing,and foremost….the staff. Judith, Lisandra,Yudi and Yessika, and I’m sure there are others….your all wonderful ppl,miss you all already! Yes the resort is starting to show its age but it’s well kept. The rooms could use a little TLC,little things like the shower/sink drain draining slowly or the lock on our door not working(was mentioned to the front desk and fixed within the hour)little things….but certainly nothing that would ruin a vacation by no means! The food,it’s Cuba. We went last year and we noticed a huge improvement in the food this time around….and we are picky ppl! Never noticed any shortages,eggs,bread….it was all there for the 10 days we were there :) Like we tell everyone,go with an open mind and you’ll have an amazing vacation!
