Venice, comprising 118 small islands, winding canals and arched bridges, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an architectural masterpiece. Suffused with beauty, the meandering streets and waterways reveal priceless art, architecture and artisanal crafts at every turn, whether in a church, museum, or during an event on the city’s cultural calendar – including the art biennale and Carnevale. As sumptuous and romantic as the city itself, Aman Venice – set in a 16th-century palazzo on the Grand Canal – is home to museum quality treasures including Tiepolo frescoes, gilded ceilings and centuries-old leather wall coverings.

While on a visit to Venice my wife and I had an anniversary lunch at the Aman hotel. We chose to sit in the new garden area which is next to the Grand Canal. The lunch and champagne was served with discreet attention by Diego and his colleagues and was fabulous. Diego also gave us some interesting history of the property and garden. All was excellent from the crisp linen tableware to the food and perfectly chilled Ruinart champagne. Faultless. Up there with one of our best lunches ever.

Thoroughly professional without stuffiness. Beautiful building and perfect location. Rooms are well equipped and extremely comfortable. Restaurant is top notch with perfect service. Staff anticipate your every need. The garden is lovely and a nice place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. Amazing.

When you are paying this amount of money to stay somewhere, it had better be good! This is good. In fact, it's everything you would expect from an Aman. The arrival by boat from the airport was magical, and we were soon enjoying a drink and a tour of this amazing old palace. Our room was fabulous - large, luxurious and contained all the amenities we could possibly need. I particularly liked the induction charging mats for devices that were on both sides of the bed. The staff were all incredibly good, taking a real interest in the guests and doing everything they could to ensure that our stay was fabulous. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

I had an fantastic time in Venice and at the Aman Venice hotel thanks to the beautiful palace and calm atmosphere the hotel is set in, excellent location, lovely guest rooms and the extraordinary care and attention from the hotel’s team including Licinio, the hotel’s general manager, Adriano at the concierge, Antonio at the bar and Jacopo at the front desk. Very grateful for the experience and hope to come back soon! Absolutely worth it. If you appreciate Venetian art and history this is a particularly special find due to the beautiful frescos that adorn many rooms of the palace and the story of the family owners of the building.

Four days in Venice at this glorious palace hosting a 60th birthday for 20+ people. A year in the planning with the incomparable Aman staff. They helped ensure the best of the best - activities, guides, boat rides, restaurants & cicchetti spots, carnival costume hire and balls. Beautifully appointed hotel rooms (with the largest, comfiest beds and enormous bathrooms), Aman breakfasts and brunches to die for, signature cocktails, fresh flowers, wonderful spa treatments, special presents and treats on a daily basis. A delicious, magical, unforgettable weekend. I cannot commend the staff enough for anticipating our every need and ensuring we all felt like kings and queens. Bravo Licinio Garavaglia and each and every member of the AMAN VENICE family!
