I loved everything about this hotel. As a solo traveler I felt taken care of and very safe. The hotel staff were so kind and amazing. The room was exactly the space I want in my hotel rooms. Comfortable and not at all claustrophobic. Very clean. It sits in the San Marco area which is a high traffic area but the sound proof windows help take care of that. And it’s convenient to walk frankly anywhere. A water taxi can come right up to the front which makes going places by water taxi very convenient or walk around the block and pick up the public water bus. And also other water taxis if the tide is too high. It has a cool history as one of the oldest hotels in Venice. And can we talk about the fact that the hair dryer they provided was excellent. A lot of power which isn’t always the case with hotels. As a girl with a lot of hair this was an awesome bonus. I would absolutely return to this hotel in a heartbeat whether solo or traveling with others.

Baglioni Hotel Luna is a truly luxury hotel. The rooms were immaculately clean, the furnishings were luxurious, and the staff were uniformly enthusiastic and friendly. The decor is beautiful and well thought out, making you feel like Venetian royalty. As Americans visiting Italy for the first time, we particularly appreciated that the hotel’s breakfast included many different options, including foods that catered to other cultures. For example, finding drip coffee or breakfast tea can be surprisingly difficult in Italy—something we didn’t know until we left Baglioni because the staff there served those drinks alongside all the Italian espresso-based staple beverages. If we ever have the fortune of returning to the beautiful city of Venice, we would stay here again without question.

What a superb location to stay, right next to San Marco square with a water taxi at the front entrance. Our bedroom even had superb views across the lagoon to the island churches. The hotel is magnificently decorated and cared for and the staff are all very friendly welcoming knowledgeable and polite. The breakfast room is amazing - don’t forget to look up at the ceiling paintings. The concierge Antonio arranged a day for us visiting the unique islands of Murano and Burano where we had an excellent tour of the world famous glass production facility. I would like to stay here again and I thoroughly recommend it.

You slip into this luxury 5-star oasis of elegance by water taxi or private boat via a short little canal offshoot of the Grand Lagoon that pulls up to a small dock fronting the discreetly elegant entrance lobby. This member of the elite “Leading Hotels of the World” hotel group provides tastefully extravagant public areas and spacious lush accommodations paired with welcoming, quietly attentive service untainted by superior attitude. Best of all, it is literally less than a minute’s walk away from St. Mark’s Square via the land approach. Exit the lobby, take several long strides and round the corner … la voila! Make sure to book a room/suite with Canal or Lagoon view to maximize your sense of continental Venetian ensconcement; soothe away your traveller aches in the luxurious sauna/treatment spa; entertain friends over flavorful plates at the public terraces; and most especially - savor a splendid sunset to early evening viewing experience of the Grand Lagoon and Canal at the San Giorgio Terrace. You won’t forget Venice.

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. Attentive, helpful staff, clean rooms, ideal location, steps from the grand Canal and Saint Marks. Water taxi pick up, wonderful breakfast selection, and great seafood restaurant on premises. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony, providing spectacular views of the canals.

At Luna Hotel Baglioni, we received the absolute best service and the most beautiful room! The gourmet meal included in the package was superb! I would highly recommend this property. It was centrally located near San Marco square also. The time went by too quickly...very romantic also. We hope to go back very soon.
