Some positives and many negatives. + beautiful views + not directly in the city + beautiful inside and out + rooftop pool - the beds are HARD! Not at all comfortable. The pillows have no support at all - totally flat - the restaurants are bad. Just bad, overpriced food. No value whatsoever. I felt robbed - the croissants are terrible. I know this isn’t France, but for my money, I’m expecting a real European croissant - you have to book the pool in advance, booking starts at 0800 for that day only, and you can only get a 2hr slot at 10/12/14/16:00. - the whole hotel is Americans. I know I’m also an American, but it’s weird and uncomfortable to be surrounded by American tourists. Maybe that’s just Venice? It’s my first time here -slow WiFi

So very happy to have had a few days back at the Stucky. It’s a stunning hotel. Accommodations are great and a million thank yous to the staff for supplying Lily the mini dachshund with her very own bed. Breakfast is fabulous and dinner too. I only wish that the guests would bother to dress accordingly.

We stayed here for one night of a Venice/Verona weekend. We stayed in an Executive Venice view room. The hotel was wonderful - both the facilities (great refit of a massive old flour mill) and the staff (unfailingly friendly and helpful). Our room was great. The buffet breakfast had a very wide range and was of high quality. The executive club was fairly basic but good to have. The only caution with this hotel is that you are over the water in Giudecca, away from the main part of Venice itself. If you want to be in the thick of it, this isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for calm away from the crowds you can use the hotel shuttle (€15 for the whole stay and fairly frequent) to visit Venice. We found the island of Giudecca worth exploring (including some nice restaurants and bars at the far end) but it’s not as beautiful as Venice itself (nor as crowded).

Not a 5 star hotel and just OK. Be aware some rooms have not been refurbished and don’t look like the images promoted on the booking sites. No bottled water provided in the rooms, curtains don’t close fully. Staff are helpful and the common areas on the hotel are very nice. We couldn’t use the pool while staying due to some maintenance issue which was disappointing

We celebrated our honeymoon in Italy and this hotel was one of the stops. The team was amazing, especially the front desk team (Daniela and Beatrice). The restaurant staff were excellent too (Ricardo). It’s a beautiful property with an amazing breakfast buffet. We recommend it to everyone.
