Really average service for 5-star. Reminds me of the US 5-stars… no one really cares here. No empathy, no listening, just by the book. Zero service or help whatsoever.. might as well hire robots, they will do an even better job than the people working here. This hotel as expected was jam-packed. Lots of event people here and just doesn’t feel like a peaceful hotel at all. What’s worse is that they don’t provide water bottles for free. Only tap. How is this possible for a 5-star hotel? Membership status doesn’t matter either. Coffee machine is non-existent in room. Executive lounge is just a separate 1 aisle by glass windows from the main restaurant floor. Nothing executive about this crap. Only thing nice about the room is the shower and the bed!was comfortable, which saves this hotel a star in this review. But wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

Rooftop pool has no sunbeds. Just a total of 10 chairs for a hotel with over 300 rooms! And we’re told we cannot bring chairs from the bar. So lying on the poolside on a towel. Pathetic The rooftop pool was the main feature I looked for when booking Such a shame as breakfast is great. The room is good, apart from a distinct smell of damp in the corridor, lift and slightly in our room

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Molino Stucky. The location, atmosphere, and views are all absolutely spot on, and our room was fantastic gorgeous, comfortable, and a lovely place to relax. The staff on the ground are an absolute credit to the hotel and provided first-class, exemplary service throughout. The front desk agents went above and beyond to be helpful; a special thank you to the team for the lovely birthday card, and particularly to the agent who remembered our conversation and arranged it, a truly wonderful personal touch. The morning breakfast crew were also wonderfully energetic and attentive each day. Furthermore, we were touched by the F&B Manager and his team at Bacaromi Restaurant, who went out of their way to arrange a table to celebrate my brother's birthday. If I were to offer any constructive feedback, the communication prior to arrival via email was a bit hit-and-miss with very slow responses. It is also worth noting that the hotel can get rather busy and crowded with large group tours. Additionally, the manners of the bell staff could perhaps be looked into, as they felt a little lacking compared to the stellar service found everywhere else. That being said, once at the hotel, the exceptional face-to-face hospitality completely made up for it.

Stayed here for a week just after easter and had an excellent stay. Had a Molino Executive room which had a fantastic frontal canal view and had several fantastic sunrise views over towards Salute and the Campanile de San Marco. Room was large and comfortable with lots of storage and good a/c. Bathroom was very good/Breakfast was excellent ( loved the large selection of cakes) with great service and the executive lounge was very good with afternoon snacks and evening snacks and drinks before having dinner along the Guidecca canal front. The gym was very good ( although on Tuesday evening ( when the spa is closed) there were no towels and water cups but on all other days there was plenty of cups and towels. The hotel is beautiful with lots of photos on its history and loved the gelato trolley by the bar area. One morning i did note that there was water dripping from the ceiling. I reported it to the front desk who suggested a room move. This was handled very well by the hotel staff. I packed up my suitcases then advised the front desk . They said the new room would be ready in 2hrs but I was going out anyway so not too inconvenient. When I came back later in the afternoon the new room was ready ( 3 floors below my original room), my luggage was already in the room and there was a bottle of prosecco in the room from the hotel for the inconvenience which i was surprised and delighted with. Over the seven days I used the hotel shuttle boat a few times so the Euro 15 charge was well worth it ( the check out agent waived the charge at check out after I mentioned the room change that was handled very well and I greatly appreciated the gesture) as well as the public vaporetto ( usually line 2) from the nearby stop. All the staff were friendly and excellent. Had an excellent stay in a fantastic hotel and hope to be back again soon ( perhaps in the summer when the excellent rooftop pool is open)

This was a birthday trip to Venice, and we booked a twin double room with executive lounge access. Unfortunately, the experience started off poorly. Check-in was average at best — we were simply given the room number and basic details, with no mention of Hilton Honors membership benefits or WiFi access information. At check-in, I asked whether complimentary water was provided in the room and was told yes, while the minibar would incur extra charges, which was understandable. However, when we arrived in the room, there was no water. I contacted reception and was assured it would be sent up immediately. After four separate calls and around four hours later, the water finally arrived. I also requested the manager’s email address to raise my concerns but was told there was a new manager and no direct email available, and that I should instead email reception. I did so but never received a response. The following morning, I asked to speak with the manager regarding the poor handling of the water request, the missing WiFi details, and the disappointing room view. Considering we had paid extra for executive lounge access and booked the trip back in January, it was disappointing to be allocated a room facing a structure with very little natural light. The manager explained that the additional charge was purely for lounge access rather than room quality, and that room allocation depended on availability due to the hotel being busy. In my opinion, the executive lounge was not worth the additional cost. Outside of happy hour (5–7pm), there was very little available beyond soft drinks, water, tea/coffee, pretzels, and cheese. During happy hour, the food selection consisted mainly of sandwiches and was fairly underwhelming. To the manager’s credit, they were apologetic and kindly moved us to another room, which was much nicer and had a better view. However, the walls were extremely thin — we could clearly hear our neighbour snoring and packing their suitcase. There were, however, several positives. Roberto the concierge was fantastic, recommending an excellent restaurant for my birthday dinner (Regina's Corner) and arranging a thoughtful birthday gift in the room, which I really appreciated. The staff at the Skyline Bar were also very friendly, and the atmosphere and views were amazing. We didn’t try the cocktails, so I can’t comment on those. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options and attentive staff. The water shuttle service was reliable and ran on time. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we didn’t get much opportunity to use the pool, and it was closed one of the days. On the occasion we did visit, the pool floor appeared surprisingly dirty, although I didn’t have a chance to check whether it had been cleaned before we checked out. The views from the pool area, however, were stunning. Overall, while there were some standout staff and positives to the stay, the service inconsistencies and disappointing executive lounge experience meant the hotel did not fully meet expectations for a special birthday trip. I'd rate this hotel stay 2.5/5.
