About the Hotel
Pyotr Ilyich Tchiakovsky is one of the notable guests who have stayed at Hotel Londra Palace – he composed the first three movements of Symphony No. 4, originally titled "Do Leoni," in Room 106. Maybe the islands and 16th Century architecture he saw across the watery horizon inspired him. Rooms are individually decorated with ornate fabric walls and Biedermeier furniture, while the restaurant – named Do Leoni – serves Venetian classics under crystal chandeliers.

Superb hotel, staff made the stay
Just superb. Staff, facilities, location, cannot praise highly enough. Short water taxi ride from the station, warm greeting on arrival set the tone. Easy walking access to Venice.

We have been to Venice multiple times. This was our first time staying at the londra palace The service was impeccable. From the moment we checked in. We stayed in a junior suite with a terrace overlooking the lagoon. It was a great room. The concierges and hotel manager were so helpful. We had drinks at the bar and the bartender was so accommodating. Great gin collection. And the best bellinis! Breakfast was included and delicious and we never had such fast room service. Centrally located. We will be returning. Ate a delicious dinner at la piazza. Walking distance

Classy and delightful
Wonderful 3 nights at Londra Palace in Venice. Superb central location, so easy to walk from, and also immediately in front of the taxi, gondola and vaporetti stops. Beautiful decor in public areas and in the bedroom. Concierge could not have been more helpful arranging things before we arrived, and during our stay. Breakfast was only slight disappointment - cooked dishes were underwhelming and some were at a supplement which seemed mean given the very high room price. But a great place to stay if you want to be in the heart of things (and can't get a room at Gritti Palace ha ha!)

Exceptional
Lesser hotels would rest on their laurels given such a glorious lagoon location and such stunning balcony views. Not this sophisticated, and yet friendly, hotel. Nothing was too much bother to make our long stay enjoyable and effortless. Londra Palace ticked all the boxes, from its impressive service culture and the endless courtesy of employees at all levels, through to its comfort and spotlessness. Thank you Alain & Nicola, Maria & Andrea, Simone & Daniel. We are elderly travellers with some physical challenges and the care shown for our welfare was touching and characteristically thoughtful. Nicola's daily greeting and handshake were emblematic of the style and class of this establishment.
