Extremely helpful booking train ticket, vaporetto connection, entry to San Marco,hair Appointment, restaurant accommodations, boat to Murano glass factory and smiling all the while-Hats off to John and Mario who went the extra mile 🥰

Grand Canal in Venice
This hotel was located right in the canal. Having breakfast on the terrace was lovely!! What a view. We arrived on a boat from the airport. The staff were wonderful, the room was beautiful and easily accessible to St.Mark Square. It really was delightful!

Disappointing end to a great Italian vacation
The room we reserved was a canal view with balcony. What we were given was a balcony room with no view. The hotel was unwilling to adjust our room rate for the disappointing room. Additionally, the morning buffet breakfast was the worst we experienced in all of Italy. They had a poor selection of fruit and actually ran out on our last day. Finally, don't expect a complementary bottle of water when they do turn down service. Total disappointment. Not worth the high cost.

Avoid this place
I stayed at Hotel Monaco three nights. The room was nice but we were turned away at the bar and restaurant because we were wearing shorts and collared shirts. The place was empty but they wouldn’t serve us because we didn’t have on pants. Considering we are from Florida where shorts are acceptable everywhere, it was a surprise they passed up the business especially since they had no business at 9:30pm. on a Saturday night. I won’t stay there ever again. The staff looked at us like we were homeless or something and made a weird face when we asked for a drink. So, even though we spent over $1,500 during our stay there, we won’t ever stay there again.

Wonderful experience !
We stayed in suite 414, our stay couldn’t have been better with a generous room, bathroom , and private terrace overlooking Grand Canal & view of Santa Maria Della Salute! Hotel staff was very friendly & happy to help with any questions. Room service was great too!
