A unique location, overlooking the Grand Canal, Palazzo Barocci emerges like a gem amongst the streets and alleys of the city. Originally built in the 1300s as a domus maioris, this building became Teatro Sant’Angelo in 1676 and was first transformed into a private home and then into a hotel. Palazzo Barocci is the story of an unforgettable part of Venetian history: that of concerts and premieres, that of musicians, writers and immortal characters like Vivaldi and Goldoni.

Hotel Barocci and its wonderful staff will not disappoint you in your adventures to Venice. Arriving on water taxi on the Grand Canal is somewhat like a fairytale. It heightens the imagination and brings out the wonder in an adult. Its small on approach, but sweet. out room was canal vew upon request and was so worth it. Just to look out every once in a while and see what was going on on the canal. the business of everyday, the quiet nights. magical. The staff will help you with what you need. the breakfast is more than adequate with cappuccino and even prosecco if you choose. Scrambled eggs well cooked with crispy bacon was my main go to. my husband loved the yogurt parfaits he made with fuits and granola. plenty of meats and chese ad bisquits too. The terrace at the top of the hotel is perferfect for an evening drink, and to gaze out at the lights bouncing off the water. But even tho the pasta we had was to perfection, the food and snack choices were not so good. Drinks were also limited on the terrace, But the first floor bar was a full bar and always someone to serve you. The location is a little out of the way until you find your path to St Marks, Dorsoduro Bridge or the Rialto. Consider it fun watching all the other people wondering where they are and wondering how to get where they are going...Thats Venice Most importantly enjoy it, and must do St Marks square after dark. Enjoy the big bands. Spend the money. sit and have an aperitif or cappuccino. Its a memory you wont forget. Never be in a hurry If you find the little MARTINI BAR on one of the little side streets, good food. All the restaurant's around the square are good you wont be disappointed But this is about the Barocci. It a great choice. It also has a really sweet private back courtyard for breakfast or to just sit. I cant say enough about all of the stafing at the desk and on the phone and in the reservations dept, and of ciurse the hosekeeping and kitchen. All wonderful

A beautiful boutique hotel right on the grand canal. Take the orange line from the airport right to the St. Angelo stop. Every interaction with hotel staff was fantastic! The front desk staff was super helpful and patient with all of our questions. The rooms and public spaces were super clean.

We have been to Venice a couple of times but this is the best Hotel we have stayed at, we had the Junior suite with canal view, it cost quite a bit more but was worth it. The staff were wonderful especially the breakfast team.

Never have been to Europe, did much research, including TA. Choose this property for price, location, and they had a dock steps from front door. This fCt is SUPER important. Room super cute windows that opened, fresh air and Sunday morning could hear music from the garden area. Room small, super clean and bathroom lovely. The shower was amazing, both the rain shower head and pressure. Would have e preferred better quality of tp, but maybe this is the standard here. Bed super comfy large TV. Was not please that they didn't include coffee pot or water heater, since it was a single room they didn't include but they had plenty of space for it. Always nice to have a cup of joe or tea when getting ready, especially when other rooms have, I could hear thru wall they were brewing, I really wanted to knock and ask to share. Hotel, please consider for future. As a guest, they have roof top for cocktails, you need reservation, that was odd. Only drinks no food of substance, but downstairs they have. Plz consider small bits o rooftop. Drinks too expensive..this isn't a club, pretty view, but doesn't means drinks should be so much. Right next to vaporetto dock..AMAZING, this way you don't have to limit how much luggage you bring. If I ever return I will come back here. Thank you for hospitality

This is a second time staying at the Palazzo Barocci! Beautiful hotel right on the canal. This trip we had a partial view of the canal and a beautiful balcony. You can see the Rialto Bridge perfectly. Venice itself is a hopping and beautiful place, especially at night! It seemed to be more crowded then 2 years ago. Room was very clean, a bit small but the atmosphere was wonderful, breakfast in the morning is wonderful - plenty of food to choose from so definitely add that to your room! It is more expensive than other places but its right on the canal a private taxi drops you off or you can take the water taxi, its right at your front door. They opened a rooftop terrace this year which was stunning at night. Cocktails were a bite pricey that having them downstairs in the lounge but the views - WOW
