Splendid Venice

Smiles greeted us from the time we stepped in till the time we left. Rooms were tastefully appointed with beautiful baths! The location in San Marco could not have been more perfect. We had a daily breakfast included with our rate which was fantastic. Please look for Khan in the restaurant as he made each day special for us. More than a waiter.. a new friend. Thank you Hotel Splendid!

Spent two nights at Splendid Venice, which lived up to its name! Our water taxi was able to dock at the door, and we were welcomed into old-world charm by friendly staff. Public areas were nicely appointed. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and very quiet, although it faced the canal. Ports and outlets were thoughtfully placed, and wi-fi was good. Of note, the location was excellent—steps from some great restaurants and shops, and very close to the square. Altogether a grand stay!

Our room was great and the view. We had a canal view and it can be noisy on the morning but to be expected. The location of this hotel is perfect and all the staff were friendly. Room was very clean. The ladies on reception were particularly helpful and we tended to go to the rather than guest services as they were just a lot better. The hotel want to be Conde Nast travellers choice but there are details they need to deal with first: There are two Ladies toilets downstairs and one doesn’t have a toilet seat I would expect the vanity items to be replenished like the cotton wool Trying to get a drink at the bar at times took ages. One evening Guest Relations had to call for a bar person One of the tray of nibbles we had given had clearly been someone else’s. There were olive stones in the tray and the crisps were soggy For the reception staff and the location I would give this a 5* but they need to sort out a few things

I just visited this hotel, it was on my birthday weekend and I was very pleased to discover a nice and cozy place , with beautiful rooms, fully equipped ! The bed was awesome and for the picky ones it even has a pillow menu( I am a picky one) . We reserved directly to the hotel our deluxe room and they were happy to help and offer us the best deal! I don’t know if it was on purpose or it was by chance that we had a canal view room which was awesome! Thank you for everything and hope to come back again!

This is an awesome hotel in a great location. The room was incredibly nice. Clean and cozy. Housekeeping staff does a wonderful job! They offered a full breakfast which was very good and very well attended to by the staff. We enjoyed this hotel and loved Venice. Highly recommend.
