Nice experience in Vienna
We had a very good experience at the Hotel Imperial. We stayed 3 nights, and it was our last city in Austria that we visited. Our room was large by European standards. The bed was very comfortable, and our room was cleaned promptly each day. Our air conditioning wasn't working as well as the hotel staff expected on our first night. When my husband mentioned he might not be adjusting the A/C correctly, the hotel staff admitted they were having issues in the hotel. We liked our room so we didn't want to switch. Plus, we'd already unpacked some of our items. After 9 days of traveling, we didn't want to switch rooms. They sent up a fan, as well as extra waters. They have us a plate of sweets the next day thanking us for our patience. Our A/C started working correctly the next day, which was a Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised that they were able to get it fixed over the weekend. Breakfast was very good although the hot water for hot tea could have been warmer at times. We had that problem several places in all fairness. We loved that the hotel was outside of the super congested area of the Inner Ring, but it was still exceptionally close to everything. We'd stayed at the Sacher Salzburg and were happy we chose the Imperial over the Sacher Vienna based on the Sacher Vienna's congestion in the lobby, out the cafe door, and all around the hotel's structure. Relaxing in the Imperial's lounge after a long day of walking was so pleasant, and we were grateful to be away from the crowds. The staff was excellent at the Imperial. They were very professional, but they warmed up when you visited with them. We'd stay here again. I suggest upgrading to a larger room category if you can.

Above and beyond service
The hotel imperial went above and beyond for us during our short stay. They upgraded our room. When we got to the room, we have a Marriott welcome gift and note waiting for us, turn down service was fantastic. The attentiveness of each employee was notably superior to most even five star experiences. Not to mention, it’s beautiful. Highly Recommend!

Great Luxury Hotel in Vienna
Can't say enough great things about this hotel. It was first class luxury and the staff was as nice as could be. My airline lost my luggage and the hotel concierge was on top of things ready to help. They gave us great suggestions for shopping and dinner. I would definitely recommend staying here!

A Blend of Tradition and Contemporary Comforts
A stay at the Imperial Hotel is a more of a memorable experience than just staying at a hotel - especially if you appreciate history and grandiose luxury. The breakfast was wonderful, the health club is well-equipped, but the rooms are what stand out in their old fashioned decor, high-ceilings (except for the top two floors) and marble bathrooms.
