Stayed 4 nights. The building is beautiful- converted bank. On arrival, no one was at the door to help carry bags up the stairs. Laura at check-in was very nice. I had used a suite upgrade, and we were put in a "Park suite". The room was large but had no view (looked directly at building across the street). As the standard rooms are good sized might want to consider this before upgrading. I get that design is a matter of individual preference, but overall we did not like the design in the rooms. The lay out was odd, and the furniture was incredibly uncomfortable- the sofa was like sitting on a wood bench and the chairs were hard and covered with vinyl. So too much form and not enough function. However, the bed was very comfortable and the linens and pillows were great. The public spaces are very grand- lots of marble and some stained glass. However, the hallways have walls painted in 2 different colors that do not go with the purple carpeting (which has a lot of stains). Service in a hotel in this category and price range should be flawless. That was not the case. It was hit or miss. The door people on our first 2 days were not particularly friendly but on Friday and Saturday were great. Same at the restaurant. Service at breakfast our first 3 days was pretty poor but was very good on Saturday. The food quality at breakfast was good, but it was the same offerings every day (with mini croissants and pastries rather than real ones, no real Viennese pastries like Sacher torte, etc, no waffles or pancake options). Had dinner in the restaurant one night and the food was really just OK and for the price should have been better. I ordered a "boneless:" spatchcock chicken. It was spatchcoked but not boneless, and had lots of broken rib bones that were a bit dangerous. The server was very nice, but I think new and appeared overwhelmed. The gym was decent. The spa has a clothing optional sauna and steam room which are nice. The pool area is lovely (in an old bank vault). Wouter at check-out was friendly and efficient. So overall, it was a good stay but not as good as I would have expected from a hotel of this caliber.

We stayed two nights at the Park Hyatt Vienna to celebrate our 31st anniversary and my birthday, and everything was perfect from start to finish. Every staff member we met was friendly and welcoming. During check-in, Anna kindly helped me find where to buy reading glasses, and Vianca gave us a lovely tour of the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgraded suite on the estate (second) floor, along with champagne, cake, fresh fruit, and a special card — such a thoughtful touch! The breakfast buffet and à la carte dishes were fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Kim, the Acting General Manager, stopped by our table to greet us and shared some great local recommendations. The concierge also arranged a fixed-price taxi to the airport, which made everything so convenient. Our stay was luxurious, relaxing, and memorable in every way. We’d love to come back again!

My fiancé and I stayed at the Park Hyatt AmHof Vienna in early October, 2025. We were very impressed with the hotel and its staff. The location was suburb and the concierge, extremely helpful, before and during our stay. The suite was lovely and the front desk made sure our requests were addressed promptly. Cheyanne was particularly responsive as were all the others we interacted with. The restaurant, breakfasts and dinners, exceptional!! The cafe is a jewel…..hard to find but worth discovering. Thank you to all.

Hotel location is amazing, hotel is beautiful, breakfast staff are the rudest people I have ever met. We did not go back for breakfast and ate at cafes around hotel instead. The bar staff equally as stuffy and rude. The beds may have been the hardest worst beds I have ever slept on. I would find a friendlier 5 star hotel with nice mattresses. Front desk and bellman all great and were nice, it ends there sadly. Worst hotel out of all 3 of our 5 star hotels while on vacation.

Truly five star on every level! Our room was beautiful and very spacious Great location. Outstanding service. The breakfast was phenomenal but $50 p/p! That would be my only complaint get a rate with breakfast included.
