This is truly one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. Every single thing about it was perfect. The service was unbelievable. The room was large, comfortable, and modern. The pools and beach were footsteps away from our room and were terrific. I want to give her a particular shout out to the concierge, staff and to Tara for helping us with some very specific requirements. They made us feel both pampered and at home. They greeted every one of our requests with a smile and prompt service. The vibe is both luxury and relaxed. There was cold water, conveniently available all over the resort, and sunscreen as well. It was easy to get chairs at the beach and pool. We could not have been any more impressed.

Stayed in one of the Villas as a family of four and had a terrific time. What a treat. The staff are amazing and the location is just beautiful. I would pick the Fairmont over the other places in Wailea because of the size of the rooms. We saw a regular suite as well and it was also very large, though with two teens we were happy for the space of the villa. Got a good rate with Amex FHR. I was worried about a couple things based on other reviews: Lounge chair availability, did not find this to be a problem. It was late August so maybe the place was not as crowded, but it definitely was not empty. There was always four beds with umbrellas available at the beach (where we preferred being). The beach guys were really cool, never in our face, and generally let us know when better seats became available. Thank you. The upper pool area was busier for sure, and lots of the space is dedicated to cabanas. But lower pool was more quiet and had space. Beach bar guys were awesome. We would come here to get drinks and bites to take down to the beach. I was also wary of billing errors and found this to not at all be the case. I checked mid-stay with front desk and again at check-out, and all was spot-on. Concierge team was good and helped us book a snorkeling tour via text. Very grateful for that. Only comments we would make is that some of the beach loungers could use replacement, and I wish that SUP and other beach activities were included. There is a nice vendor operating these services (billed to the room) so options were great, but I wish some were included like at the Andaz. Also, $9/hr for the beach services boogie boards felt like nickel and diming. Food and drinks at Pilina were excellent. Very nice vibe. Included breakfast was good, and servers always made a point of saying all was included. Looking forward to returning!!!!

If you are looking for the ultimate vacation or special day celebration, stay at Fairmont kea Lani Maui. From the time we arrived the beauty began.. Breath taking lobby, guest service open clean and inviting. The bellmen at the entrance are very professional and treat you with care. Then on to registration at front desk where you will be met with a cold tea and a cold towel. Our entire stay was more valuable than I have space to write. The concierge next is up front as well even before we arrived they helped us with itinerary. They clean you suite daily and do turn down at night as well. the house keeping staff are by far the best ever. The cleanliness felt safe and really clean even in other restrooms on property. The suites are amazing to say the least the views are awesome There is a walking train that starts at the property along the beach with amazing views. The restaurants are some of the best around and the staff there just as serving. The resort shuttles will take you to some area places. The beach is clean and beautiful. The manager Alfred does a great job with his staff the worker are a direct reflection on the staff. Alfred is very professional and shows great care for their guest. The Fairmont team made our anniversary so special. We cant' wait to return.

We recently spent five days at the Fairmont Kea Lani Resort and feel compelled to share our experience. We have traveled to the islands before and looked forward to rejuvenating our bodies and spirits in this Pacific Ocean paradise. What we did not expect was the consistently gracious hospitality. Without exception the entire staff made us feel welcome and cared for with a level of service that made us feel like ohana coming home. Freshly renovated, the property offered a strong sense of place by paying deep respect to the island’s rich heritage. We particularly appreciated the homage paid with the creation of Hale Kukuna. Situated in a commanding position in the lobby, overlooking the beautiful grounds and seascape, in this cultural center you can immerse yourself in the kingdom’s history, learn ukulele and lei making or just breathe in a sense of the island’s spirit. Fairmont shows the value it places on this heritage by dedicating prime real estate to honor this special place. The property is all luxury suites which makes it wonderful for families and early risers. The new lobby restaurant called Pilina not only served great sushi, but also featured outstanding local entertainment. Too often Hawaiian resorts cater to mainlanders with generic music selections that could be heard anywhere. We really enjoyed the musicians who proudly played Hawaiian tunes that most visitors had never heard. As frequent travelers we like to connect with the culture of the places we visit. We know when staff and facades are faux and when they are real. The Kea Lani is real and rightfully proud of its sense of place.

This was about fourth time returning to the Kea Lani and it was, as always, wonderful! The breakfast was a highlight for the whole family. The only downside was that almost all pool chairs seemed to be claimed by 9am even though there weren’t a lot of people yet at the pool.

We stayed at the Fairmont Kea Lani Maui for and had a wonderful time. Most importantly, even above the great room, excellent service and delicious food, was that our seven-year-old son had the most fun. Many thanks for another wonderful vacation!
