Unique Experience in an Excellent Location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed June 14, 2021

We stayed in the hotel for two nights. The hotel definitely provides you with a different living experience. If you are tired of mainstream hotels that all look alike, Autor Rooms is the place to go. We stayed in the smallest room but to see the Polish design and how the space has been used and decorated smartly was made it worthwhile to stay there. We certainly want to stay in another room when we go to Warsaw again. The location is also very close to hip areas of the Warsaw; Poznańska, Marszałkowska streets, Plac Zbawiciela are all in walking distance. Also, on our first day, Magdalena who welcomed us was very attentive and helpful. Overall, if you seek for an alternative experience, this is the place to visit! It will surely speak to your soul.

Amazing place promoting Polish design

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed March 11, 2020

The best hotel I have ever stayed at. Beautiful interiors, the best Polish design - I fell in love with the room 1777. The service is excellent. The hotel is very centrally located - good starting point for visiting Warsaw on foot.

Cool Design

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed February 10, 2020

Set in a historic apartment, with beautiful parquet flooring and showcasing contemporary Polish design, Autor Rooms offers 4 unique, spacious and cool rooms. The communal area, where the excellent breakfast is served ( for which many thanks Joanna ), boasts a great collection of design books and Polish jazz on vinyl and there is a kitchen for guests to use ( together with a small honesty bar ). The central location is close to good restaurants and bars etc., with the Hala Koszyki only 50m away and the excellent public transport system is right on your door step. We felt privileged to stay here and look forward to a return.

Terrific place

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed January 26, 2020

We stayed here for 5 nights. We had an issue on the first night with our hot water and it was resolved very quickly the next day by moving us to another room - which was really appreciated. As a result, we got to see most of the rooms - they are all different and hence each have different features. We had the place to ourselves most nights, so we were able to use the common facilities, eg played some records in the dining room - which was a real treat. Breakfast was great, and we enjoyed it immensely. Joanna who we dealt with over a few days was truly fantastic, she was great to chat to and very helpful. The lady who checked us in on the first day seemed a bit disinterested - it would have been nice for her to give us some advice and directions. But that small quibble aside, we loved staying here. It’s a quirky property, not a hotel, so don’t go expecting a hotel. It would be a fantastic place to stay as a group, ie book the whole place out. And we loved the location. Really great place.

Charming Nostalgia in the Heart of Centrum

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed January 4, 2020

Autor Rooms is located on the third floor of a mixed use building in downtown Warsaw. The ambiance is quirky and nostalgic, with lovely parquet wood floors, charming period furniture and a warm, comfy bed. The common area/breakfast room is chock full of artsy books and recordings. This a great romantic choice in a neighborhood chock full of large, anonymous cookie cutter chain hotels. You'll feel like you are visiting friends in Warsaw...it's a lovely, romantic experience. We only stayed one night, on our way home from a stay in Poland. If we should return to Warsaw, we'll book this straight away. It's a lovely little property.
