Fantastic Hotel! Went to DC for quick weekend trip June 19-21, 2025. This hotel is pretty close to Union Station (a quick 7 minute taxi ride), very clean, staff fantastic. Kayla, one of the hotel managers told me upon arrival that the room I had picked was right above the restaurant which was hosting a huge wedding all weekend so she asked if I wanted to wait about 10-15 minutes and she would be able to move us to another room which would be quieter. I truly appreciated that. The staff at the restaurant was wonderful, Mark and Guillermo. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly stay here again. Thoroughly enjoyed my weekend, although I wish I could've extended it a bit longer! Many thanks to the staff at the Conrad - great job and wonderful hotel!

When my wife and I were researching where to bring our kids for their first 4th of July in DC, we settled on the Conrad. I was concerned that our four children, 10 and under, would find the resort too "stuffy" or "professional" to enjoy themselves. Still, I wanted them to experience a nice hotel and be close to the monuments and fireworks. At check-in, we met Kayla, who is genuinely one of the best managers we've encountered. She went out of her way to make our extroverted children feel at home. Immediately providing them with goodie bags filled with 4th of July headbands, jewelry, flags, and necklaces. JP, one of the bellmen, made them laugh as he grabbed organic ice cream for them (complimentary) to help them cool off after the DC parade. In the afternoon, there was face painting, balloon animals, and a scavenger hunt with prizes, all free and available for kids. I don't think my kids have ever had as many balloon animals in their lives as they quickly engaged in balloon sword fights with Jeff the concierge and other kids in the atrium. What about the rooms? The rooms were modern and luxurious, featuring marble tile in the bathrooms, large plush beds, soft carpet, and wood flooring in the entryways. The only minor complaint we had in our double queen room was that we couldn't figure out how to turn on a reading light beside the bed. It seemed you could only turn all the lights on or off. It was my wife's birthday, and Kayla arranged a late checkout for us as well as a bottle of champagne. We ate brunch in the Estuary, the hotel restaurant, and they seated all of us at the "chef's table," which my children thought was the best, as they could watch their food being prepared. I asked my children which hotel they preferred. The DC Conrad or the Legoland hotel in NY they had recently visited with their cousins. Without hesitation, they said, "The Conrad." I guess that means the Conrad is for kids. Who knew?! None of this is to say that if you don't have four children like we do, you will find the Conrad noisy or unwelcoming. It was and is a five-star, luxury hotel. It just isn't one where you have to be an adult to have a good time.

We stayed in the Conrad 1 week to discover and visit Washington DC. The hotel is ideally located in a very nice and central area of the city. The hotel ticked all the boxes, the rooms are great and the service was amazing. Kudos to Janice and Alex

I recently stayed at the Conrad Hotel in Washington, D.C., and was thoroughly impressed. The overall quality of the hotel was outstanding, the service at the Sakura Club was exceptional, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. On top of that, the location is perfect—truly a great experience all around.

Tena was the front doorman. He always greeted us with a smile . After venturing out to the museums and exploring the city,he made us feel like we were coming home. He didn’t just open the doors, he opened our hearts. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves as he , himself was simply humble, sincere ,kind and genuine. We would choose to stay at your hotel, just for the warm reception he provided us daily! Five stars to your doorman
