The name Dupont may be the most common surname in France, but in the United States it is known as one of the toniest areas of Washington DC. At the very top of Dupont Circle is The Dupont Hotel, perhaps the only place in the city where politicos and party leaders can peacefully co-exist. Newly re-opened and part of The Doyle Collection of properties, The Dupont Hotel's modernly designed spaces are evident throughout the public areas as well as behind each and every guest room door. Contemporary appointments add another layer of luxury to the hotel's harmonious setting. Amenities are abundant with private physical training, in-suite massage and spa services, heated bathroom floors and an entire level reserved for those wanting private membership to the property.

We stayed at The Dupont Circle Hotel this past week for a family wedding, and it was excellent. The staff was friendly, courteous, and incredibly helpful with our large group. The location is fantastic—very walkable with a Metro stop less than a block away. The Christmas Market even opened right outside the front door during our stay. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting DC!

Great staff, central location. Excellent food at the Pembroke, the Doyle, and the Kiosk. Loved the in-room espresso machine.

The Doyle Hotel was an absolute pleasure for us to stay in. Everything from check-in to a beautiful hotel room was top class. Breakfast in the Pembroke is a real treat. The oatmeal with fruit to the delicious pan cakes , also the Greek yogurt and the eggs benedict were delicious. Staff were helpful and on top of their game. Big shout out to Liam in the bar for his manner and professionalism, top man.

management completely mishandled the notification to guests -- water was turned off from 11 pm - 6:30 a.m. for which we received only a few hours prior notification. it was NOT an emergency, leading us to conclude that the interruption had been scheduled previously, again on NO notice to guests. no offer to compensate or make an adjustment -- just an "apology for the inconvenience".

Day 1 at breakfast we didn’t make a reservation, when we went down they asked us wait. No issues. While in the lobby we heard them interacting and seating other guests with no reservation, after the second time I had to remind them we were there. That evening as we were getting ready for an event, I took a 10 minute shower that didn’t drain and flooded the bathroom and room carpet. I called reception and they said they would send someone up, 2 hours passed and no one came. On my way out for and event I stopped my reception in person to remind them the room was still flooded. When we returned for the night, the towels had been replaced, that was all. I didn’t try to take another shower. The carpet was still soaked, we called down to ask for more towels to lay on the ground to soak some of the water up. No effort was made to correct, change rooms or compensate us for the poor quality of room. We ate at the Doyal as well, and the staff was very poor and took over 15 mins to come to a table and interact at all, we left after being seated because then staff was so poor.
