The name Dupont may be the most common surname in France, but in the United States it is known as one of the toniest areas of Washington DC. At the very top of Dupont Circle is The Dupont Hotel, perhaps the only place in the city where politicos and party leaders can peacefully co-exist. Newly re-opened and part of The Doyle Collection of properties, The Dupont Hotel's modernly designed spaces are evident throughout the public areas as well as behind each and every guest room door. Contemporary appointments add another layer of luxury to the hotel's harmonious setting. Amenities are abundant with private physical training, in-suite massage and spa services, heated bathroom floors and an entire level reserved for those wanting private membership to the property.

Nice hotel overall; there was some late-night noise from the street though. Staff was courteous and decor was very nice.

Lots of choices in DC but this place has always been pleasant with a luxurious feel with no hipster tacky decor like you get at Yours truly DC Hotel. (not to say that was a bad place but just not as good. Plus the staff are amazing, always attentive, polite, and quick to respond to any and all of your needs. Also with the do not disturb light no unwanted interruptions if you want to skip turn down to sleep in. Also when they do the evening cleaning they did not disturb any of our devices providing a great sense of security without the feel of having to use the room safe. They also took the time to fold our clothes we left on the bed which made packing up even quicker as we only had to place them back in the suitcase with plenty of time to spare since we didn't have to rush to fold and fit everything in. I have stayed there 3 times and look forward to continuing to do so for years to come.

Excellent place at Dupont Circle. We had a suit on the sixth floor. Quiet, black out curtains, great amenities. The restaurant, The Pembroke, is Michelin rated, although we didn't go there. We used Kramers across the street...Excellent, especially breakfast. Everything there is very expensive. A very small bottle of wine in the liqueur cabinet cost $28...bring your own. We made the mistake of pulling one out to see what it was and put it back....immediately charged. We had to straighten that out at the desk, which they were happy to do. The staff is outstanding in all respects and very helpful. If you've got the money, it's a good stay.

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic. The only hiccup was that the street was shut down due to the holiday market, which made parking difficult, but is not the fault of the hotel. We were greeted by Caroline at the front desk, and she was immediately kind and helpful to us. She congratulated us on the occasion and made suggestions to things both in and out of the hotel. The room was spotless, and had things like automatic blinds and heated floors in the bathroom. Could not have asked for a better experience.

Farah Faraj was exceptional in her treatment and helping accommodate everything during our stay. She made our stay at the DuPont circle hotel absolutely wonderful!
