Graduation Destination
Visited my friends staying at the hotel during graduation, I loved the atmosphere and had a great time at The Doyle bar with them. Their room looked nice, would have enjoyed a higher floor myself, but they really liked it. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and polite. Will be back for the Hugo Spritz.

Never again.
This pains me but the entire stay was AWFUL. We booked via Amex Platinum, called last week to confirm the benefits, then were told something totally different upon arrival. We tried communicating via their "text" portal,ZERO RESPONSES. I called atleast 5 times back to back, no answer. The room was "upgraded"and there were MULTIPLE issues with the water, amenities, ac. I'm so pissed for booking this room, as it is NOT 5 STAR, at all. The service made my stay the worst aspect with the ONLY positive bring Abby from The Pembroke Restaurant. We tried the Doyle bar, waited 15 minutes with NO service, and I can tell you we will NEVER Stay here again. Terrible, terrible service. The location is the only benefit, and I mean the ONLY benefit. Amex needs to drop this hotel from their brands because this is an absolute embarrassment

Great Hotel, lovely people
Great location, absolutely the best staff ever, from greeting me on WhatsApp to responding amazingly quickly with my desire for a kettle and a larger cup, these guys were spot on. Very comfortable room, especially the bed. Automatic blackout blinds at the press of a button. Some of the furniture is a little worn in places, but didn’t detract from comfort, which lets face it is more important. Very clean. A little bit of noise from construction work going on outside the hotel, but since we were awake from 5.30am each morning (don’t you just love jet lag) it didn’t trouble us at all. Busy bar, which looked like fun but we were a bit late and were unable to secure a table. Starbucks just across the road was excellent as we were staying on a room only basis. Very happy with our visit and would be more than happy to stay here again.

A real star among the hotel staff.
We had a pleasant stay at The DuPont Circle Hotel. The real star for our stay was security personnel Lasagna Brooks, who helped us for hours over two days to search for my daughter’s missing Aura ring. We never did find it, but Ms Brooks helped us with getting access to the closed restaurant where it might have been, coordinating with other hotel staff in the search, and joining us in actual looking both inside and outside the hotel. She always had a smile on her face and a pleasant, efficient, and encouraging manner. Hats off to you Ms Brooks!
