Super breakfast experience
Traditional breakfast meeting at the hotel. Very nice menu selection with some traditional and delicious specialties. Excellent service and atmosphere! Not a hotel breakfast where to arrive with shorts:). Location is great by the white house. If nothing else, definitely a tick in box place to visit.

Martha Washington would Love this place!
What a lovely hotel and their service is impeccable. From the honoring our request for early check in to moment the bellman brought up our luggage and then explained all the features in the room, we were impressed. This is a vintage building, and one might think it could be stuffy, but the staff is so friendly they can’t do enough for you. We were out for the evening, and when we returned the hotel provided turn down service. I haven’t seen that in a while. So nice to be treated like royalty!

Not to be missed
A truly wonderful experience at The Hay-Adams Hotel. This historical Hotel was everything and more that I needed for the perfect surprise trip to Washington D.C. for my husband. This historic hotel boasts an outstanding staff, food, accommodations, and most of all the location needed to create a truly amazing weekend. Thank you for the great memories The Hay-Adams.

What a special, boutique hotel! The accommodations were absolutely beautiful. The location is incredible. The food truly outstanding. The staff is extremely welcoming, kind, helpful and joyful. Every detail is world-class. We cannot wait to visit again!

Excellent stay with top notch service, home away from home
Excellent experience. The hotel itself is old but beautifully designed and maintained and very grand, and the location is key. Close to the monuments and the museums. Very clean. The best part is the staff and service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and professional and could not do more to make guests feel at home and welcome. Alfredo, especially was so nice and helpful!
