Fantastic location in DC, with a vibrant vibe in the surrounding wharf neighborhood. Rooms were spacious, immaculately clean and comfortable. The hotel bar made excellent drinks, great place to unwind after a long day of meetings. Shoutout to Erinn who was very helpful and thoughtful throughout my stay!

Fantastic hotel in the Wharf neighborhood of DC. The neighborhood is walkable with lots of shops, restaurants and activity during the afternoon and evening. I was here for a meeting in the hotel, and was very impressed by the buffet for breakfast and lunch. The hotel room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The bed was medium firm and comfortable. Only complaint is the TV in the room never went fully dark when I turned it off, so glad I had a sleep mask on hand.

A smart, clean hotel with friendly staff. Great location for access to restaurants and bars. Room was a great size and view over the river was nice. Breakfast was nice but the amenity charge is just a rip off. 30$ a day for bottled water and WiFi - just a joke and I don’t believe it’s optional. I personally thought the hotel was pricey for what it was especially as the pool wasn’t open even thought the sun was shining. We were told it was the end of the season so it probably wouldn’t reopen. G re at location but I’d try other hotels in our return.

I can't say anything bad about this hotel. It's beautiful, clean, well equipped. I've stayed there only one night with my daughter. It was mother-daughter trip to Washington to see my daughter's favorite singer. I do have only one complain. Maybe it's obvious for most of the people who traveled a lot, unfortunately we don't, but we didn't know that food items which were in our room are not included in the price with pay for the room. Next day after coming back home I've checked my credit card charges and was surprised to be charged for all food items we consumed, some Pringles, pecans etc. I called to the hotel to find out why I was charged for it, only to find out that coffee was free but anything in mini bar it wasn't covered by the amount we paid for the room. There wasn't any info next to that items that are not for free at all. So how I should know that coffee is for free but anything else not. It should be some info next to that items stating that we will be charge for it if we decide to consume it. Very unhappy about it. Everything else was great.

We had a fantastic stay at the Intercontinental at the Wharf. Beautiful hotel, awesome restaurant and bar, location location location. If we could buy the sheets and pillows we would. So comfortable! Spectacular view of the wharf and boats. But the cherry on top was the front desk. Everyone was professional and efficient. Alex and Lashonne, especially. Shujaat helped us with our barrage of questions and made great suggestions. He did it all with patience and humor. He made our stay feel special. Anytime we are in DC we will stay there. It will feel like coming home.
