My partner and I went for a tourist trip to DC. This hotel is listed as one of the best value and I can say that I agree. The location is great and the staff are accommodating. Some of the staff are local to DC and know some none touristy attractions that are worth a visit. Dave in particular knows the Dupont area very well. I think he said he lived around the area which explains why. We asked for foam and feather free accommodations and Simon made sure that it was arranged. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely come back!

Because of a reservation system failure, I was sent to 2 rooms that were occupied when I checked in at 11:30 pm on May 15. This was dangerous for me and the room occupants. The staff knew the system was malfunctioning, yet sent me to these rooms. The room I finally got was not fully made up. For this I was charged over $400, with no offer of compensation.

This hotel is a great find. It has a grewt location and excellent service. We had especially great service from Dave and Simon. They went above and beyond to help accommodate a unique issue that came up and they made our stay truly magical! Thank you!

My stay at the Sonesta was generally a pleasant and satisfying experience, great location, huge, comfortable rooms. However, I would like to highlight that my experience with the staff at the reception desk was perfect, attentive, helpful, informative, of a style quite unique. My wife and I stayed at the Sonesta Dupont Circle when we traveled to Washington D.C. in April of 2024. We were impressed with the amenities as well as our accommodations. Two individuals that deserve accolades were Chase at the front desk and Moe at the hotel restaurant. Both were professional, accommodating, and friendly. Although we did experience one hiccup during our stay, the front desk manager and bookings.com resolved the issue after some time. My wife and I were thrilled that Simon, the front desk manager and Brian from Bookings.com were able to remedy the situation by providing a refund for our troubles. Both of these individuals provided excellent customer care and professionalism, traits that are not routinely found in some other business establishments. Senior Leadership should be proud of these individuals for their roles in creating a positive customer experience. This will surely reinforce a sustained competitive advantage which in the long run will return a positive net marketing contribution to the firm. We look forward to returning to the Sonesta.
