The hotel was nice and everyone was professional. Gonzalo was aonnice and he moved our room from one king to two queen beds the second day. We did mention our 20 year anniversary and a little chocolate or champagne would have been a nice touch. But overall it was a pleasant stay. We did have to Uber and the salamander SUV advertised on web site wasn’t available and we weren’t told that before hand.

This was our fourth stay and everyone was great!!!Stayed once 2 years ago and twice last May. Malik and Sabrina even remembered us!!! I told my husband he’ll need to open my doors more often as the staff raised the bar!!Food was great too!!Close to the National Mall and the wharf. We will be back in the summer for some more VIP treatment. We compare hotel stays and the Salamander has remained number one!!!Can’t wait to come back!!

Extraordinary service, comfort all part of this amazing property. Our meeting was in the Salamanders meeting rooms. I want to mention an incredible person and the impact it had on me. At the last minute a dinner reservation needed to be placed, as the clients showed up. The concierge made two calls. Recommending Joes stone crabs, within 3 minutes the driver appeared. My instructions were as follows go to the rest, ask for this particular individual and relax Dooming as told we had a fantastic driver, got us to the our destination quickly. The individual I was to ask for was waiting, said for us to this way. Truly this was the best table with the most visibility in the establishment. Our service and suggestions were perfect as was our food. The brows so perfect we could all scarcely belief it took place. The relationships forged will be business and personal. We owe this to one individual at the Salamander. Mara Izqurdo Well done With much gratitude Steve T

Malik is my Hero. He is one of the reasons I continue to return to the Salamander. 2 years ago when my Family arrived back from a military tour in Europe he welcomed us home and thanked me for my service. He was so kind that my children thought he was family. You are lucky to have him.

I would like to thank Salamander DC for making my birthday super special. I was met with a beautiful king suite, great hospitality and a team who went well beyond the call of duty. Gonzalo, the Manager was so accommodating! The spa was also amazing! 8 women and I had a remarkable experience there and Lisan my massage therapist was the best hands down!!

Not up to the standards of our stay at previously booked luxury link hotels. No in room coffee bar, no mini bar, blamed everything on Covid, and they were a new hotel, we would not stay there again. Definitely not 5 star, location good, no ice maker you had to call for it.
