Thompson DC was a wonderful hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, especially at check in, shout out Jenifer, Ryan, and Efren. The room was obviously clean and modern and extremely good value. The restaurant for breakfast was absolutely delicious with many options. Definitely going to stay here again.

Check in was at 4:00, but rooms not ready till 6:30 pm. As a result, our wives had to change for a wedding welcome party in the hotel’s public restroom. The men refused to change in the not so inviting public restroom - so, they went to the affair in their travel clothes. Hotel offered a measly $25 drink coupon for our inconvenience - but our four drinks (there were four of us) cost $100 - - the hotel offered us $25 for $100 of drinks AND THEN never gave us the credit! Bathroom shower in one room leaked over THE ENTIRE bathroom floor every time we took a shower. We had to build a “water wall” with towels just to try to minimize the flow of water each time. The lobby bar was never open (and this was a weekend), and allegedly the hotel was completely booked. Just an overall lousy experience.

Everyone was very friendly, kind and accommodating to us. We had a wonderful breakfast and lunch. We also visited the roof top bar, which provided us with a nice glass of Pinot Noir and beautiful views. We plan on returning. Thank you

Clean hotel, personalized services, close to restaurants, convenient stores such as Target and clothing stores. Approx 30 mins from the airport. Cost about $64, Uber is more expensive than taking an Uber. The hotel has a restaurant. The beds are comfortable. The hotel arranged tours for us so we were able to tour by land and sea.
