Reviews for Thompson Washington DC
Save your money, do not stay here
Do not waste your money. Stay somewhere else. The location of the Thompson Hotel in DC is nice, but that is honestly the only positive. The food was extremely disappointing and not good at all. For the price point, you expect much better quality, but it was nowhere near worth it. The room itself was very basic and did not justify the high cost of the stay. There was also no microwave in the room, which was inconvenient, especially for a hotel at this price level. On top of that, the rooms are extremely dark. Even with all of the lights turned on, the lighting is still very dim and makes the space feel gloomy rather than comfortable. Overall, the experience simply does not match the price. There are many better hotels in DC that offer more comfort, better food, and better value. I would definitely recommend staying somewhere else.

Welcoming and warm
I had an excellent stay at the Thompson. The staff were incredibly welcoming and warm, especially the bellman, Million, that helped me with all of my luggage! I will definitely be staying at this hotel the next time I travel to DC!

Thompson DC has got all you need
Great location 4 minutes walk from subway station, great customer service, great breakfast, no complaints about my room everything working perfectly, 100% clean, easy check in/out. Leisure or business, one of the smoothest stays we had in over a year. We would go back and recommend to everyone.
