Step foot in our luxury hotel in Washington D.C. and discover an urban resort located along the banks of the Potomac River. Here, you’ll uncover a hotel unlike anything in Washington D.C. — a place where modern design blends with an iconic landmark to redefine luxury. The Watergate Hotel's flowing avant-garde architecture was designed by Luigi Moretti to emulate the mighty Potomac, and its stunning new Ron Arad-designed interior lives up to the building's original elegance. Complementing the hotel's new, modern feel are the retro-chic staff uniforms, made by Mad Men costume designer Janie Bryant. The Watergate Hotel takes classic elegance and bold mid-century modern design and adds all of the extravagance and warmth of contemporary luxury. This one-of-a-kind hotel pays tribute to its own storied past, while paving the way for a new chapter to be written.

The historic Watergate Hotel was very upscale, the rooms were comfortable and plush and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I'd like to give a special shout out to Yab, the doorman. He was our first contact at the Watergate, the face of the Watergate, if you will. However, all of the staff were first class and we had a great time during our stay in D.C. If/ when we return, we will definitely book there again, Sue and Bill from Orlando, FL.

Those of you who follow me will know, that I always try to be positive in my reviews. But I will not this time, the Watergate is overrated, it is nearly unfeasible to switch off the lights in the evening which makes it fifficult to sleep. And niw about the breakfast. When you irder get ready to wsit until your toast is cold again, and you have to understand the hierarchy of the waiters because those getting you the coffee cannot take up your orders. And when you ask for the chack you are told:” i btought it to you already which let’s. You wish do go without signing your check, surptising, a Hotel with such bad service would not survive one day in Europe. Hopefully our bext meeting is not going to be here, there are nicer and mire welcoming Hitels in DC.

Excellent experience! The staff are beyond incredible, especially the front desk, housekeeping, valets, and the doormen! Ask for Yab...This polite, professional young man is an excellent resource for all things DC!

From the moment we walked in, staff were friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate us. The hotel is close to so many things - easy walking or quick stroll to the metro. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a minimalist mid-century vibe. Pillows and bedding are soft and comfortable. You just sink right in! The spa is a must. A highlight for us was a tour of the Scandal Room. Our guide, Yab, was very knowledgeable, friendly and shared some fun facts we didn't know previously! We will definitely return as the hotel and all staff exceeded our expectations!

The Watergate is Iconic and the best Hotel in DC for service! Hidden gems and great food, service, spas, pools and views all under one roof! Best service I have had in the USA in a long time! Great room with comfortable surroundings and views! Great people taking care of you at every turn! Will not stay in any other Hotel but the Watergate Hotel when in DC!
