My friend and I had an absolutely amazing afternoon tea experience! The sandwiches and sweets were delicious and freshly made. Dining room environment and ambulance were perfect for such occasion: pleasant music, clean dining room, beautiful china and furniture. Our Server Subi was wonderful! She walked us through the menu and provided an outstanding service : attentive, but unobtrusive. She was really sweet! Manager Cesar also passed by and checked on us multiple times during our meal, which was very kind of him! True professionals, and it was such a great pleasure to be served and welcomed by them. I highly recommend afternoon tea experience in the Willard. You won’t be disappointed!

Just finished up a lovely afternoon tea at the Willard’s Peacock Alley. We were celebrating my nieces 3rd birthday and they went way above and beyond to make sure she went home happy and full. They even went as far as to bring her chicken nuggets and fries when they recognized that she wasn’t eating all of the delicacies like the rest of us were. All of the adults agree that the delicacies, champagne, and 3-tier goodies were top notch. And the service was exceptional. The live music by the harpist made it extra special especially when she played happy birthday for our niece as well. Huge thank you to Juan Pablo G(JP), Liliana, and the manager “Cesar?” But not sure if I’m spelling that right. We were there Sunday July 13, 2025.

Beautiful high tea at Washington’s historic Willard hotel. A divine tea selection, beautiful treats, an incredible harpist who had adapted contemporary artists for her instrument, and wonderful service from Deepak and JP, who were the most gracious hosts one could hope for. They

Just had an amazing week at this wonderful hotel,everything from the location,the decor,the staff are just perfect,I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for anyone visiting DC,I would definitely stay again. The location did it for me ! And if you want great food one evening go to The Hamiltons over the road.

Wow. The customer serviced here is out of this world. Everyone is so incredibly nice. We arrived around 10, planning to drop our luggage and sightsee before the 4pm check in, but Alyssa had our room ready at 12! The bellhops were also awesome and I like that our luggage was secured in a separate space, never left unattended in the lobby. My daughter and I spotted Saturday afternoon tea in Peacock Alley and asked if we might be able to come for the 2:30 seating. Cesear, the team manager said they were full, but asked the culinary staff if they had enough to add us and was able to fit us in. He was so sweet and when he found out it would be my daughter’s first high tea, said he would make it special. We expected to be in the tea room, but he sat us right in the grand alley by the harpist. Deepak was our waiter and he was just amazing. He is incredibly knowledgeable about tea and helped us select a tea. When my daughter liked my selection better, he brought her her own pot. And when she asked if we could buy some to take home, he gifted her some! They really made it such a special afternoon and she said it was the highlight of her trip. The rooms are newly renovated and HUGE. Everything is so comfortable and we’ve been taken care of so beautifully. 100% would stay again and I’d say this is the best hotel customer service I’ve ever experienced anywhere.
