The Tea Room at the Willard was phenomenal! Our Tea master, Deepak was very well versed in teas from around the world. Deepak also shared how he has taken groups up Mt Everest on several trips. He has served presidents and royalty many times. He was so kind and got the Director of the hotel to come and share how they got the beautiful China with the presidential design. Our scones, biscuits, and other finger foods were not only beautiful but tasted so delicious. We definitely did not go hungry and we took take home boxes back. Just amazing. Highly recommend

We celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary at the Willard and had a great time. It has been a few years since we last visited but this time was a wow moment. We were upgraded to an oval suite and the room was amazing. It went on and on and was so clean with incredible views. They recently did a hotel refresh and it shows. The staff are extremely nice and the service was outstanding. I would recommend afternoon tea which requires reservations but is worth it. Peacock Alley is an incredible space with a harp player and incredible selection of teas. Breakfast each morning at the Parc Cafe' was very good but it is extremely crowded. Reservations are a must even for hotel guests. My only feedback for management would be that we did put down on our reservation that it was our anniversary and it was not recognized until later in the weekend. I don't know exactly what happened but at least we did get an incredible room. Overall it was a great long weekend. Thanks again.

1) Fantastic location. Very close to the White House. 15-20 minute walk to major DC highlights. Safe area. Lots of great restaurants nearby. 2) Beautiful hotel. Looks exactly like the pictures. 3) Hospitable front desk. Got a wonderful room upgrade as an IHG Diamond Ambassador. 4) Housekeeping did a great job with room and hotel cleanliness. The Willard Hotel is a solid hotel. No wonder why it’s been around for so many years and has been the “residence of presidents”.

My partner, mother and sister had an incredible time at the Willard during our tea experience. Our waiter Deepak was so kind and generous with us. Walking us through any and all questions on the menu, as well as entertaining our questions about tea, its history and benefits. I could listen to him describe his passion and experience with tea for hours and it made our time there that much more meaningful. The tea was delicious, atmosphere and music were beautiful and the food was great. I can’t wait for the chance to go back and hear Deepak tell me more as I enjoy time with my loved ones. Thank you so much Deepak and the Willard!

This was our first time to Washington D.C, and for our last meal we ate here for lunch. Martin waited on us and he made our experience exceptional! He helped me pick the perfect wine and the perfect dessert, the reisling and the chocolate blood orange. The salad was also amazing because my husband never eats salad and the one that came with his short ribs were finished entirely!
