Friends of ours had been here and recommended it to us for a special occasion. It was quite luxurious and the ambiance was impeccable. Their flagship restaurant, the 1875 Steakhouse was top of the line. Bedding and linens were first class and service was spot on. Most rooms are about $350 per night depending on the season. It's first class all the way. Several restaurants and multiple shops. Indoor and outdoor swimming pols. Fitness Center.

We visited as a group of four and had a wonderful time. There's so much to do, and the hotel itself is beautifully designed. The dome is especially impressive, and we really enjoyed the spacious swimming pool, which was well-stocked with towels. The hiking trail and the stable activities were also a lot of fun. We appreciated the complimentary water provided daily. Overall, it's a great value considering all the activities available!

The room was very nice, hotel was super clean. Beds were comfortable. I don’t really have any complaints. We enjoyed going over to the casino for a few hours. We enjoyed the live music at both locations. We did not eat at the West Baden hotel. We ate at the French spring resort . We enjoyed the jazz band in the library at West Baden in the evening . We won’t be back anytime soon because it was a little bit expensive for our budget, but we had a good time.

Booked the hotel, within hrs received call from guest services inquiring on any preferences- followed up on preference for pets, but decided to NOT bring pet- we had an upper King Country View room but the check in they placed us on 2nd floor due to my inquiry on pets- even though I stated we would NOT bring our pet and prefer upper level room; 2nd floor country view rooms are only pet rooms FYI; so at check I requested for correction to be moved to upper level and was told due to the conversation the with guest services inquiry we could not have our original room- So, we are in a room with no country view only roof and drive; not to mention the TV doesn’t work and not best intake experience… Restaraunt Sinclair’s was par, for prices okay but felt like a casino experience vs special dining - needless to say, the hotel for $345/ stay was more like a $150 Fairfield Inn kinda stay

From the minute we drove down the long cobblestone entrance, we felt as if we were stepping into the past. The atrium, itself, is a site to behold. There are many photos online. The late 1800’s-early 1900’s architecture is amazing. Well-maintained grounds and friendly staff. Shuttle buses take you where you want to go. We will certainly return.
