My experience of this hotel is one of shear dishonesty. I stayed there for a week in April and decided to use the guest laundry. Warning signs should have flashed when they gave me one sheet of paper with the prices and told me to complete it and submit. The prices, were what I would expect (between $6 and $20 per item) and I duly sent in seven or eight items. When they emailed me the bill after I checked out they had charged me over $600! $600 for a couple of pairs of pants, a shirt, some t shirts and undergarments! Despite repeated attempts to contact the hotel they did not/would not return calls and emails. Because I could not show the price list of laundry charges (because there was no customer receipt) I could not even prove to my credit card company that I had been overcharged. As someone who travels to West Hollywood regularly this was my first time at this hotel as I wanted to give it a chance - what a mistake.

Review would have been 5 star if it hadnt been for problems with the Valet Parking. Hotel is great, centrally located. Staff are very helpful. Rooms are spacious and noise from the street is minimal the higher up you are placed. Be aware of extortionate valet parking fees- $70 per day. As a word of warning, video your car before each handover. We noticed some damage on our vehicle once we had left the hotel. The damage was not there when it was handed to them but as we had no proof, the valet claimed the damage was there when they received it. Luckily we had full CDW so were not charged for the damage caused ( the vehicle had clearly been reversed into a post). The hotel would not accept liability but issued a full refund for the parking which in my opinion, speaks for itself.

What a brilliant stay we had at the Andaz! From the lovely sunny rooftop pool to the clean, comfy and quiet room, the whole stay was brilliant. The location is also perfect with the Sunset Strip right on your doorstep, there are some great places to eat and drink nearby which are within walking distance - something of a rarity in LA as we discovered! A particular thank you to Nilaja for being so kind and helpful and recommending some great places to eat and visit. If you plan on having a pool day, I recommend to get up there early as it does get busy. We were so pleased with this hotel and would absolutely stay again next time we visit. Thank you Andaz for helping make our trip one of the most fun and memorable ever.

We’ve stayed here three times now and I don’t want to stay anywhere else. Our rooms have always faced the Hollywood Hills so it is perfectly quiet at night. The rooms and lobby are always clean, the beds are super comfortable, there’s never a wait for the elevator, and they have free snacks you can grab on the go daily. We love your hotel! See you next time we’re in LA!
