Obviously beautiful and unique hotel but the award goes to the staff and customer service. 10 out of 10

This hotel impresses right from the drive in, with the beautiful checkerboard pattern on the driveway. The lobby is bathed in colour and wonderfully selected pieces that, while different, seem to work in a cohesive manner. The rooms also bathed in colour and texture with fantastic light fixtures and small details. The bathroom is light and covered in marble. Complimentary water in the room and turndown service with delicious macarons. I can’t fault anything about my stay here. Dinner and breakfast at Merois were both excellent. Location on Sunset is perfect, walking distance to sights, restaurants and shopping or a short Uber ride. I would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful stay from check in to check out. Clean, great location, and friendly. You feel like they appreciate you there. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. Concierge was friendly and went out of their way for you. Valet was friendly and quick. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back!

• The hotel is in a nice location, although not the best location on the strip • The rooms are very nice, although a little small (but still, they are very nice), however privacy is an issue • Rooms facing sunset boulevard are visible from the street. When sitting at the comedy club, everyone can see directly into these rooms. On the other side, rooms look straight into the residences (and vice versa). • The view from the rooftop restaurant and pool was spectacular • Unfortunately my experience (which would have been ok otherwise) was destroyed by two things: Overcharging and Pretentious staff • Overcharging - they added someone else’s dinner, drinks, gratuity to my bill (luckily I noticed it and reported it) even then it took some insistence to have them investigate and remove it • Breakfast is given as a $60 per day credit towards ala carte breakfast (as no buffet) and the breakfast is good. However you need to check the bill to ensure the $60 per day credit is actually added to the bill, as mine wasn’t. Luckily I checked else (and you need to check too) • The worst thing though is the pretentious staff (aside from housekeeping who are great). Someone needs to let them know that no body likes pretentious/rude staff, and that practice went out in the 90’s. They just stand around talking to themselves, and it seems they don’t actually know what customer service means. And it’s not like I wanted much, just be a little attentive like any normal hotel/restaurant So, unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel, but I certainly do recommend staying on The Strip / West Hollywood. The bars are great, the comedy club is great, check out Boa for amazing steaks! Enjoy

Beautiful, hip hotel in a great location. We loved the rooftop pool and the restaurants. Adrienne eagerly helped us secure tickets and reservations. So helpful! I had the best deep tissue massage in years from Arnold at the spa. Highly recommend!
