Superb hotel in the beautiful town of Broadway, ideal for visiting the Cotswolds Accommodation and staff were excellent. Breakfast was lovely It t is a dog friendly hotel BUT could do with Dog Waste Bins in the grounds as there are none. Bedrooms for dogs well equipped with dog bed and bowl A really enjoyable stay

It had been 30 years since I stayed at the Lygon Arms, for all but the last three years having been resident in the US. We decided to return there with our greyhound and at the same time as an American couple who had been our neighbours there. We were not at all disappointed; from the greeting and valet service upon arrival through the three days of our visit, we felt like pampered guests. "Pet-friendly means different things at different hotels but here it meant that our dog was as much a recipient of 5-star treatment as were we, being able to join us while we dined. Hospitality standards are generally higher in the US than the UK, but both we and our American friends found the Lygon Arms exceptionally comfortable, luxurious, and ideal for a short stay. It was great to find something that not only felt as good as 30 years ago, but which had kept up with the times. Absolutely delightful.

Thank you for the personal tour, your history of the place is brilliant. Especially enjoyed Cromwell's room with all it's wonky features. We will be back hopefully next year. If the walls could talk, the stuff it has witnessed with all the historical guests past and present.

The vision of the hotel as we arrived was impressive and welcoming and there was no change in our experience as we entered the reception and then onto our room. We found the room furnished to a high standard, very clean and the bed was appreciatively comfy. We had no adverse experiences throughout our 3 night stay along with any of our visits to the dining room. We will be back👌

Broadway is a fantastic , quintessentially Cotswolds village with the Lygon Arms its flagship hotel .. It’s centuries old , so expect oak beams , fire places , uneven floors .. also expect fantastic service , valet parking & luggage assistance . We are in their James Martin Grill , which was a quality restaurant, unpretentious , medium priced , and all had a great night . Our room in the main building was very comfortable . It was just on the verge of being a little hot , even in early May , but our friend room was in a newer part of the property and apparently had air con .. so in the real summer we’d book in there .. This is a quality hotel .. I’d liken it to the Fife Arms in Braemar .. top service , quirky and boutique .. highly recommended
