Lovely Old Hotel-nice stay
Lovely old hotel, the rooms were nice, old style but large enough, we had a lovely view of the garden as well it is great to sit outside and enjoy a drink

Business trip to Zagreb
I travel to Zagreb regularly for business purpose since almost 8 years . The Esplanade is a must. Great environment. Extremely polite and helpful staff. Large rooms with all comforts. The hotel is also very well located in a walking distance from the city center.

Historic Property
I would expect more when staying in a suite. Things like a daily water bottle and not just on day one. It is 100 years old and in some places it shows. Staff was overall nice....

Very memorable stay
We had booked a hotel a bit closer to the main square, but friends convinced me that this hotel was worth the extra five minute walk and I am so glad they did. It is a treat to say there....elegant, comfortable and the staff is exceptional. Breakfast was very diverse and entrees were presented as though you were royalty. The bed was the most comfortable on the whole trip and the room and bathroom were just lovely.
