Reviews for Esplanade Zagreb Hotel
Excellent Hotel
This is the most beautiful hotel in Zagreb, my husband and I love staying here. The hotel is extremely clean, when you arrive by car, an employee greets you and brings your luggage and parks your car (like in all the best hotels). I didn't have to open a single door myself because the employees open it for you. Neat, nice-looking (finally, because in many 5-star hotels they don't maintain that custom anymore, which is unacceptable to me) and very pleasant receptionists. Everyone is very kind. The rooms are spacious, the bed is extra comfortable, the pillows and towels are thick and pleasant for the skin. Each room has a bathrobe. It has that old-fashioned touch that is beautiful, and the hotel has existed since 1920. We ate excellent food, famous chefs in the Bistro Esplanade (steak, truffle risotto, tuna carpaccio). I recommend this hotel to all people who are "spoiled". I must mention that this hotel has local maids and this is visible in the maintenance which is impeccable!!! As they passed by, they greeted everyone nicely!

I requested “upper floors”, got a King size room on the 6th floor. I wish the bathroom and the shower got the memo about it being a 5star luxury hotel. If it had gotten the memo, then maybe I should not have showered crouched or sitting in the bathtub, because the ceiling was actually 1.5 m high… Seriously, not a shower worth an AirBnB, let alone the iconic hotel. The Good size: the crew: front desk, vallet, waiters, concierge… they should be paid double for their great job I really don’t think I’ll be back here, as much as I respect the history and the importance of the hotel, really did not make me feel worth my money6
