We traveled to this resort for my son’s wedding . He got married at Casa Angelina . From the moment you step into the shuttle, to the short ride to the resort you feel safe ! The staff is polite and very accommodating. A special shout out to Francesco who was amazing during our stay . He was so kind and thoughtful and made us feel like family . Also , if you choose to buy from a vendor on the beach I suggest asking for HIME ( hi-me) . He and his wife hand make the jewelry and it is spectacular !!!! Our expectations were exceeded at this resort. Our beach steward, Francisco, was wonderful. His attention and kindness were much appreciated. The Hao bartender, Marcos, always kept the glasses full and gave us wonderful recommendations in Zihautanejo. The food at the resort was very good and the pools were lovely.

We find the Thomson Zihua is one of the most relaxing places we've found on earth. We've traveled to Zihua multiple times and this hotel's service, food and accommodations never disapoint. We love coming in low season. The staff, such as Hiliberto, Saul, Jessica, and Stephanie all provide exceptional service and accommodation to our needs. The food options at Hao, room service and on the beach are all different, and we really enjoyed the variety of foods available. Breakfast is one of our favorite meals. How can you complain about a tropical fruit bowl, eggs cooked to order and fresh juice in the beautiful outdoor setting just a few yards from the ocean. Every day ends with turn down service where towels and bottled water are refreshed and a sweet treat of cookies are carefully left on your pillow. We looked forward to the cookies every night.

This hotel and staff made our anniversary trip to Zihuatanejo magical. The room was breathtaking. It is a spacious, modern room that opens onto the beach. The resort was clean and the staff was incredible. Marco helped us at the front find wonderful dinner places. Francisco served us at the beach and in the pool, and was so fun and accomidating. He even helped us get reservations for dinner. I would give this hotel a 5 out of 5 for sure!

We just got home from our 20th anniversary trip. We loved the laid back and beautiful atmosphere! Not crowded either. Francisco at the beach gave amazing service- excellent recommendations, and overall his positivity and happy attitude was enjoyable to be around. The beach is beautiful and the ocean is swimmable. The infinity pool is gorgeous. We had a beach suite and the room was spectacular- roomy and even had two bathrooms which was not expected. I would absolutely recommend this resort for a couples trip. It’s also very easy to get a taxi into town (only 100 pesos). We hope to visit again!
