Reviews for Camden Harbour Inn

Wonderful place to stay!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

My wife and I stayed at Camden Harbor Inn, Oct 2025. The staff and room were excellent. Staff was very kind and attentive. The room was spacious and clean! They go out of their way to make you feel glad to be there. The candy room is a fun place for treats. Breakfast is out of this world!

Mixed Feelings

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

This hotel was a bit of a mixed bag for us. We frankly expected more for the price point (expensive but not luxurious). There is a fine line between historic and shabby historic and this hotel teeters on the edge, particularly with the room we had. the stairs (there are many) have very short treads and are frankly dangerous for older people. Fortunately they had folks to bring our luggage up or we wouldn't have made it! The carpet in our room was so badly stained and worn that frankly they should be ashamed to sell it. The furniture is definitely historic and could us a refresh. The odd thing is our top floor room had a nicely updated bathroom, which was nice, but the room was dated. They also had a candy bar in the lobby that is a nice concept but candy freshness was an issue. The highlight of the hotel is the restaurant Natalie's. We had a fantastic dinner and an equally nice breakfast there the next morning and the staff both for dinner and breakfast were superb. For us, the hotel is not somewhere we would return to unless renovated but we could eat a Natalie's regularly!

Perfect Getaway!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

My husband and I just thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Camden Harbor Inn. Camden is always a fun visit, but staying at the Inn made our getaway even more special. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! The shower was heaven as was my bath with bath salts and rose petals. We loved our 3 hour dining experience enjoying all the courses presented that were Chef’s Choice/Chef’s Tasting. Everyone was so professional and kind. Every detail was well-appointed and lovely. It was the perfect 2 day getaway. Thank you for making us feel so special.

The Perfect Camden Getaway

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

My girlfriend and I are still talking about what an incredible experience we had at Camden Harbour Inn! We did the lobster package with cooking class, and it totally blew us away!. The evening's star was Chef Jose. He loves food so much, and that enthusiasm was catching. He explained to us the whole process of preparing lobster ravioli from scratch. The way he taught us made everything look so easy and fun, and he shared with us tons of pro secrets. The home-made part of cooking our own dinner made eating it that much more special. And the dinner itself was delicious – really, one of the best we've ever eaten. Aside from the class, the inn itself is just a treasure. Our room was beautiful, and waking up to harbour views was perfect. The lounge is chic and trendy, but yet still retains this outrageously warm and welcoming atmosphere. We also loved how easy it was to get around from the inn; the town itself is quaint and walkable. All of the staff we encountered were so friendly, making the entire experience so effortless. This is a must for anyone in Camden. A huge thank you to Chef Jose and the entire team for making our evening so special!

Treacherous staircase

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

My wife and I spent 2 evenings there. Accommodations and cuisine were excellent, BUT, access to the second floor was treacherous. No elevator, only an extremely steep staircase with: a handrail on only one side, a very narrow tread, and extra high riser. Making the decent for older folks a challenge. It might be a bit considerate to inform potential guests ( in their 80's) . As nice as things were we will not return for fear of sliding down the stairs, which after asking around has happened.Don't know what there waiting for before addressing this problem.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The staff here is so friendly and accommodating, which always enhances a vacation. The actual accommodations were awesome! I really miss the comfort of that amazing bed and waking up to the beautiful view of the bay. This was the first place that I booked for our Maine vacation and it ended up being our last stop! Could not imagine a better ending. Thank you all so much!

I can't say enough good things about this Inn. I felt like I should have paid them more at the end of the stay which is something you rarely feel these days!
